I was wondering what the buzz is on Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon Cafe. I am planning our dinner reservations and am trying to decide between Crystal Palace while we are at MK, or taking the boat over to Whispering Canyon Cafe.I wondered what you all thought of it comparatively and if it was worth the time out of the MK to eat there over CP.

Also which would you recommend for a picky eater.........bf is a meat and potatoes guy, only veggie he eats is corn. However, he is not into bbq. So at WCC it would be off the menu not the skillet.

It would be the bf and I and we have no kids. Not necessarily looking for a quiet meal. Just which would be a better value or better food/atmosphere.

I like both. If I had to pick I would pick CP. Because it is buffet it will be easier to feed pickey eaters. Plus it is nice not having to leave MK and having more time in the park.

My choice hands down would be WCC. We love it and the resort is wonderful. If you time your dinner correctly you could catch the Electric Water Parade from the beach and maybe the FW from the boat on the way back to MK.

Food-great Atmosphere-hysterical

We have eaten at both, and we are meat and potato people. We were not impressed with CP... it was just ok, but WOW!!! we loved WCC! And it is so much fun!! Even if you don't have kids it is a blast!! Don't miss it!! And it's a great idea to try to time dinner to see the electrical parade before or after eating!! And be sure to tour the WL... it is beautiful!!!:thumbsup2

That's hard.

I ate at CP & hated it. I thought it was awful.

Every trip I go to WCC for the atmosphere, but once it's time to order I always think, "why did I choose this restaurant?". I'm not into bbq as well. There are not a lot of options at WCC if you don't like bbq.

I would still say, though, WCC. He can at least get a burger if nothing else. I'd suggest checking out the menu on the web, if he can find at least one thing to eat, than definitely go there- it's fun, even without any kids.
