Cruising towards 10 days of fun... a July/Nov 2012- & We're BACK!!! Pg.50-51

I wish we could go for that many days. It would be nice to have scheduled days off like that.
We always have one or 2 days away from the parks to visit with family. But it is nice to have a few days of down time.

The plans look good and hopefully you can get healed up and make that 5K happen.:thumbsup2
If my achilles isn't better by then, I have major issues. :headache: :headache:

Love the plans! I think the 8th looks like a good meet up day!
Let's make it happen!!! :thumbsup2

Congrats on getting all of your ADR's and within the time frame you wanted.
Thanks Kathy!

Yay for getting all of the ADR's you wanted!!!! Now, time to change them all! :rotfl::thumbsup2
Thanks... and I hope I don't have to change any of them.

But a good DISer doesn't leave well enough alone. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Our park days match up almost exactly! Touring Plans?:lmao:

::yes::

I have to revert to this schedule after they nixed MVMCP on Tuesday & Wednesday. If we actually make that Sci-Fi lunch on Sunday we could meet up! :goodvibes

I think everyone's plans should come with a disclaimer; plans subject to change.......a lot!::yes::
Honestly, we are pretty good to sticking to the plan... traveling with Christopher at 14months is sure to make us change something. popcorn::

Finally caught up again! (Have been away for the last two weeks.)

Hey Karin! Welcome back!

All your plans look fab and congratulations on the ADRs!
No blame for not booking Palo, but should you take a longer cruise, it's definitely worth it! :thumbsup2
Someday we will take a longer cruise. It might not be till Christopher is old enough to come with us though.

Don't worry about the port arrival time ...... 11.30 is soon enough! There will be loads of time to have lunch and check out the ship before the sailaway party! :goodvibes
Thanks!!!! I've wanted to tell Juliana so many times but I keep stopping myself. I think she is going to be so surprised! She is going to love swimming in the pool once we get on! Now let's hope for good weather!

Congrats on getting all of your ADRS!!! Isn't Kona great? :goodvibes I didn't realize your trip was so long...you're lucky. And I think you're going to have an incredible trip. I'd love to be able to go down with a big group of friends and kids.
We have made Kona breakfast a tradition but we have never eaten dinner there. All the dinner reviews that I've seen are good so we are going to give it a try!

It is good going with some friends because the other kids help distract each other while waiting in line. :lmao:

:woohoo: on your ADR's :woohoo:
Thanks Lisa!

Congrats on all your ADR's, looks like you've got a good plan there, I hope you get to do the 5K:goodvibes
Thanks Jessica! I think there will be some down time in there too. We might leave the park in the afternoon then head back on our longer park days... but I think we have a decent plan. :goodvibes

for Mel.....

Thanks!!!!! :goodvibes

Your welcome!!!

Changes...oh yes, the inevitable changes. I am usually good about letting my own trips stick until the last minute...then I second guess all the plans. :headache: I think it's a DIS-ease!
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think there shouldn't be too many changes... but with 12 people going, you never know! :rotfl:

Sorry for the slow updates but there isn't much going on as far as planning goes. I've been checking airline prices which are still sky high. Although, I did find a Southwest flight out of Hartford at 6:20am and arrives in Orlando at 9:20 for $120. The bad part is getting everyone up at 3:45am to get to the airport (UGH!) and dealing with the aftermath of tired kids. The good thing is being in Florida so early, getting situated at POFQ, and maybe relaxing at the pool.

Leaving on Monday Nov. 12th seems like it is going to be pricy. I will continue to monitor the prices and if they don't drop, we might have to either add a day :woohoo: or leave on Sunday. :sad1: But I refuse to pay over $300 for a one way flight. :headache:

My busy time at work starts this week and runs till June 24th so if you don't see me around here you'll know where I am. :lmao: Sometimes it is easier to hop on FB for a minute than trying to read through the boards. Plus, it is easy to use the FB app on my phone. Speaking of phones, check out my countdown calendars!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

2012-05-15_11-36-21.jpg

I hope you all have a great few weeks if I don't get back on here. But look at the bright side, once the craziness of work stops, we will only be a few weeks away from our cruise!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Ahhhhhhhh ..... airfare! :scared1:
Tell me about it. I am shopping for February of next year and it is already so high! (and it rarely goes down again). I really hope you find what you are looking for - because 3.45am does NOT sound fun with two kids. ;)

Love your countdown clocks on your phone! I love looking at mine on the computer too! :thumbsup2

I understand your airfare woes! I think SouthWest is opening up their schedule on May 25th, although I also heard June 2nd, so who knows for sure.

hope you can find some good tickets! good luck with your busy work schedule the next few weeks :goodvibes

Looks like you have the same phone as me...the Android Inspire? What app is that?? I want it!

How annoying about the flight prices. I'd be all over that super-early flight, but I know that gets exponentially more complicated with the kids. Hopefully something works out and you don't need to lose a day!!

Good luck getting a good airfare.

Enjoy the busy season. Make sure you share any wild and crazy wedding reception stories. :lmao:

Totally understand the airline cost nightmare (if it weren't for that, I'd be going in June!). When I finally got us down to $264 roundtrip per person, Andy booked it with his credit card (he has a Southwest credit card and earns points when he uses his card) and we'll pay him back mid-June when Mark gets his first umpire check. I was afraid to wait any longer for fear it would go up more.

I'll try to keep updated with you on FB! Kisses to my adopted kiddies.

Hope your airfare works out. Just played the air fare game for October. Fortunately it all worked out and I got my flight for $195 RT. Yeah.

Cool app. Love it!

Great ADRs

I hear you on the airfare woes. I am glad I booked out my DL trip so far in advance. :cool1:

That airfare is just insane. It HAS to come down, who is going to pay that???

I hope your busy season goes by smoothly. Your cruise will be here before we know it! :woohoo:

Hey I have that countdown as well. My DD takes my phone to look at it all the time.....

Airfare:scared1: I found flights for 3 for a total of $922 but when I had the money to book them they were $420 each :scared1:

I kept trying back because I didn't want to wait for SW to open for end of Nov. I should not be able to make my ADRs before my flights....Makes me too nervous. We ended up paying $324 a person and I checked it again yesterday and it is $406 each for the flight we picked. Funny thing is the outbound flight only has 12 seats sold....

Hi Tim and Family

I know you are very busy but I wanted to say:

I hope you enjoyed a RELAXING Memorial Day weekend!

hope everyone and everything is great! miss seeing you around!

Hey everyone! I hope you summer is going good!

We are only 26 or so days away from our cruise- and let me tell you, I need a vacation!

I've been working in between 70-100 hours a week for the last 5 weeks. This is the last week of craziness and I hope to get my life back to normal. :goodvibes

Juliana still has no clue about the cruise but she saw a DCL commercial a few weeks ago and told us that she wants to go on a cruise someday. :lmao: I can't wait to see her face when we get to ny!

Talk to you all soon (and to respond to all of your comments too):)

Hi, Tim. Missing you and the gang.

We're off to see my MIL at the nursing home tomorrow (she has stage four cancer) and then off to Dubuque to see the kids and the new house they bought. :goodvibes
