Not sure if anyone is thinking about excursions at this point but wanted to share about Nachi in Cozumel - they are closed. I attempted to book with a credit and by the time the reservation agent and I got done emailing back and forth about that and what they needed and then me taking time to eat that turkey and all it took us a few days but when she went to book it, she came back and told me they were closed. It is NOT posted on their website, just their daily hours so don't be fooled like I was.

Yes, Nachi as well as Mr. Sanchos and Chankanaab are all closed on Sundays. I've been trying to figure out since September where we should go now!

If you were booking with Island Marketing for Nachi - they do have a few other options but there is also Resort for a Day that has some options as well if you are looking for a beach day.

I have been gone for ages. Anyway hope everything works out well for those having issues. We bought our plane tickets to FLL last night. 213 a person plus two free bags. Not complaining at all.

Are there any girls, age 11/12 on this cruise who are interested in a email exchange with my daughter (11, getting 12 in June)? She speaks English quite ok for her age, but being a German native speaker, making friends at the kids club can be overwhelming for her, so on our last cruises she always had email contact with other girls beforehand (and afterwards, she is still in contact with most of them) which made meeting in person easier and built up excitement for the girls.
We will reveal our cruise plans on Christmas and it would be so nice if we could give her some "letters" from her cruise buddies.

PIF yesterday! Flights to FLL purchased. Will get the return flights from SAN booked in the next month. Its so real now! I know I need to figure out what to do with our port days. I've been so distracted with the holidays + the mini-getaway DH & I are going on to DL next month.

Def planning to bring some of our puzzles we haven't done and my puzzle keeper. Bringing a few card games. May bring some of the DH's big-boy Lego kits he hasn't gotten around to assembling. Just to relax for 2 whole weeks! Yay!!!!

Well we are PIF. So just about all ready to do this awesome voyage again. All that's left for us is booking our free Palo dinner. And getting a room in Ft. Lauderdale the night before. Oh and I guess a rental to Miami and then back up here to LA.

I know a bunch of folks are staying at the Doubletree in Miami the night before the cruise. We are, too, but staying on points. Using SAS from FLL to Miami. Spent a few hours pouring over things to do in Coz. Being the only ship on a Sunday is cool but Chankanaab won't be open which throws us. That's what we wanted to do most. Soooooo......even after all that studying I'm no closer to something to do. LOL!

Cozumel - we are Nachi people and they are closed as well but we are going to do a resort for the day.

We are also flying into FLL but staying at SpringHill Suites (free transportation from the airport) and then taking SAS on Friday morning to the port. Just easier to deal with and no need for a rental car.

We need a car because we need to make a a few stops either on our way to the port or the day before. The cost is the same. As for as the hotel we have our place just waiting for the price to go down a little. It always does. As for excursions and such. We are not interested since we have been to all the ports before. We use this cruise as two weeks of pure relaxation. So we would like everyone to book excursions so while we are in port we can relax on a empty ship.
