Cruise's (Chris) Accountability/Sap Journal :) (comments welcome)

Thanks guys. DH and I went to Kohl's late this afternoon, a place I haven't been able to shop at because I can't fit in their clothes. Until now. Well I didn't find anything that I liked (I was looking to replace some clothes for Disney in December) except for a couple of tshirts, nice ones, that will go nice with jeans or shorts. I bought 2 sizes smaller than what I'm wearing now without trying them on knowing they WILL fit when we go. I can't wait to wear them. It was weird buying them, I have never done that before - bought clothes without knowing that they would fit. But what an inspiration to get down to be able to wear them.....

Hi Chris!!

I will be pulling for you to get into those new clothes! I know you can do it!

Hi, Chris! Congratulations on the new clippie! You have to be so proud of yourself! And how awesome to fit in shorts you haven't fit in for so long! Isn't it wonderful to have tangible proof of what your hard work has wrought? I think your new pants are even going to be too big on you all too soon!
Keep up the great work, kiddo! I'd bet you look awesome! :cheer2:

I got started on going through journals last night and then I got an irritating phone call regarding the school carpool and I was on the phone (and at one time on my cell phone AND home phone) and didn't get off until 10:30pm. So it was time for bed at that point.

Today was an okay day - here's what I ate:

breakfast strawberry fruit and oatmeal bar

lunch ham sandwich
4 pickle slices
1/4 cup potato salad

snack 100 cal chips ahoy
1/4 cup M&M's

dinner lemon chicken breast
1 cup green beans
1 cup mushroom rice

Totals are: 1093 calories, 25.5 fat grams, 167.8 carbs

I guess this means I need to have a snack. Since I didn't get any yogurt in today I'll have a yogurt before I go to bed (fat free). I just didn't get much time to eat today and when I did I was hungry very fast.

I did work out tonight and I drank 86 ounces of water.

Keep on

Hi Chris - great job on getting a workout in and you ate great!!! Keep up the great work!

Well, today was interesting. Tomorrow is going to be an ouch day on the scale I'm sure. Here's what I had:

breakfast strawberry fruit and oatmeal bar
fat free yogurt

lunch Culver's Grilled Chicken Cashew Salad
Reduced Calorie Ranch

snack 100 cal oreo snack

dinner 4 pieces pizza

and here's the totals: 1776 cals, 77.5 fat grams, 193 carbs (anyone that fell over please keep breathing and I'll call for help!!!!!)

OMG - my mouth dropped to the floor. The good thing I guess is that I didn't hit my calories yesterday so maybe I'll be okay. But I'm sure I'll be bloated tomorrow from the pizza. But, it's okay. At least I sucked it up and wrote it down. I was just going to skip it but I decided not too. I had an awesome workout last night and tonight so that was the good part. Didn't get my full water in today because I was having a hard time getting it down with the work load. Boss is gone tomorrow so I'm GONNA get caught up on journals if it kills me!!!!! In between work though :)

Have a good night and I'll see you all tomorrow with a weigh in (UGH).

Keep on

Quick check in - I did step on the scale this morning and I was down another .5 pounds so I'm down a total of a pound so far this week.

I'll check back later.

Keep on

As always, you are doing great! Don't worry about the higher calories for one day. A lot of bodybuilders actually rotate the amount of calories they eat to keep their metabolisms going (3 days low, 1 day high). And obviously it didn't do any damage to your weight! Keep up the good work!

Congrats on another 1/2 pound, Chris! Don't worry about one higher calorie day. There are many WW'ers who SWEAR that that actually kicks up your metabolism and helps weight loss.

Great job on getting in your water and workouts! :cheer2:

Hi Chris!

Just wanted to wish you a quick congrats on being one pound down!!! hehe!! That is awesome, keep up your great work!!!

Thanks guys - I'm down another .5 pounds this morning. First I looked at the scale and it said I was down 1.5 but then jumped up to just .5 so I got on again and it was just .5. Not too bad. I felt like I ate a lot yesterday because I didn't get home until late and didn't have any stamina or energy to get on the computer and do my totals. Come to find out I should have eaten a snack last night but I just had no energy to - I wanted to go to bed. So here's what I had yesterday:

breakfast strawberry fruit and oatmeal bar
fat free yogurt

lunch 1/2 of Qdoba Naked Fajita Ranchero Burrito

snack cheese stick
100 cal pecan sandies

dinner oven roasted chicken breast sub
And here's my totals: 1140 cals, 38 fat grams, 138.5 carbs.

I'm thinking I'm going to have a good loss when I get on the scale tomorrow which will be good because we are going to the county fair tomorrow and I AM having a corn dog - a foot long at that!!!!! They are the best I have ever had (so far) and I just can't go and not have one. So I'm prepared to gain on Sunday if it happens. But for dinner we'll eat at the bbq place (best bbq in the county) where they have chicken and pork chops and the meal comes with your choice of three sides - baked beans, applesauce, cottage cheese, cole slaw - so I'll have some good choices available.

Hope to really get to journals today - gotta do some filing in the bosses office, type up a couple of orders and then I'm caught up FINALLY!!!!!!

Tonight and tomorrow 4 ladies in our town organized a collection to go to Mississippi and I'm going out tonight to buy stuff to contribute and then going to help load the truck for a couple of hours in the morning. I can't wait - this makes me really feel like I'm contributing!!!!!

Everyone have a great day - it's Friday afterall.

Keep on
Chris

Congrats on the weightloss. You've been doing great. After reading about the footlong corndogs & BBQ, I'm starving! Corndogs with mustard are my favorite. Have fun at the fair & a have great weekend!

Enjoy your time at the fair and don't feel guilty about your corndog splurge! You are doing so great, you deserve it! And as long as you don't go overboard, I bet you won't gain too much (if any at all!)

Have fun!!! :flower:

Hi Chris,

Sounds like you had a nice full Friday and some fun planned for the weekend. Enjoy your corn dog too!! Fairs are such fun!
Congrats on your .5 loss and hope that you do see a nice loss this weekend too!

Have a great night!
Mike
