Cruise Vacation Outlet - any reviews

Mark me down as another person who has had excellent customer service from Dawn at CVO. I've booked two cruises with her in the past and have two dummy reservations with her right now.

The actual price of the cruise is going to be the same regardless of who you book with-there are no sales. Whatever DCL has listed is what the agents have to sell the cruise for.

OBC's, free gifts, free offers, rebates from the travel agency-those are what most folks are shopping around for.

If a TA says they have a better "price" that isn't being truthful. (I see ads on FACEBOOK all the time that say " Disney Cruises 70% off", not true.

Thanks! That's what I thought. I didn't think the price of the cruise would be different.

I just saw this new post and wanted to say that I'm still very happy with them. We actually are leaving on a Disney cruise this Thursday that they currently handle. I work with Dawn Moseley.

We also work with Dawn, found her in 2010 and have booked three cruises through her and had friends also use her. I have played around with cruisecompete and CVO always has the best deal as far as OBC, which is what's most important to us.

I have booked close to 10 cruises with Natalia at CVO and she has been wonderful to work with.

For those of you who have booked through CVO, do they also provide a "welcome basket" gift in your stateroom?

interesting question. i must say though, while i liked getting a basket in my cabin there was very little in it i used. dh did eat the candy that was in it.
extension cord was left in cabin unused, cups were unused and left at disney resort as there was just no room to pack them, white board was never used but brought home (doesn't stick on the door very well even with more magnets applied), highlighters was something i thought would be very handy but we didn't use those either. the bag it all came in was brought home but i'd be hard pressed to tell you where it is.
as i say, before i get flamed, it was nice to have a special something in the room. but i could do without.

what kind of obc do you get? i'm thinking about them for my cruise after the upcoming one.

I actually opted for free trip insurance instead of onboard credit (she offered either one), since we had booked onboard and transferred to her, therefore already keeping our DCL stateroom credit.
