Yeah, I know there's a Cruise board, but since I'm so used to you all I thought I could ask here instead!

So, so what that we just got back from DL 1 week ago and I have this strong need to go back ;) :rotfl: I was looking into the CA. disney Magic cruise but if I'm reading it right it's only here for the summer? Dustin said to at least give him a year's disney break, but I know I can sneak it past him by going in 6 months LOL! I don't want to make the Florida trip until the girls are at least 10ish so that cruise is out of the question. I'm not even sure I'm keen on the idea of a cruise, but I'm desperate - HA! I hate the thought of being stuck on a boat with people who could potentially be throwing up from being seasick. Have I ever mentioned my irrational fear of being around people, or myself for that matter, that are throwing up. Really. How I am surviving being a mom I don't know :sad2:

So tell me, am I to late on this one?? How am I going to get my fix if I am LOL!

Mom2my2daughters I have been on 3 DCL cruise and NEVER EVER saw some one throwing up.. so i wouldn't worry about that at all.
The Magic is only in CA for the summer and then going back to FL. I am not sure if it is coming back to CA next summer or not. i guess it will depend on the $$$$$.

We are sailing on the 7/17 cruise and all the talk on the cruise board is that all the sailings are booked except the Aug Repo which just had some cabins open up.

I have been on 10 cruises. Only once were people getting sick (and we did not see them getting sick, people just shared their sick stories the next morning). It was during a tropical storm bad enough that our docking schedule was changed. It had 20 ft swells. Most people were fine. We have old super 8 film of the empty barf bags hanging hand rails.

It was our 2nd cruise and I was in 5th or 6th grade so I had a blast.

Unless your family is prone to motion sickness I would not worry about it.
