Anyone have a reputable cruise excursion company to use to save some $$ from booking with the cruise company? We did that once but not trying to do it again.

We are going to Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

If you go to cruisecritic.com, they have many message boards on cruise topics. Go to both the Cozumel and Grand Cayman boards and read through the threads. People are always reviewing different excursions that they booked on their own. I've learned so much through those message boards. Here's a link to the message boards. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/

I use Trip Advisor and read other's comments. Odds are if a particular excursion is listed in the top 5, you know they are reputable.

If I understand your post correctly, you don't want to book your excursions thru the cruise line. Is this a Disney cruise? If so, I would still recommend checking out the cruise forum here on the boards. They have lots of great advice and they've talked about non-disney sponsored excursions on there. Best of luck and I hope you have a wonderful cruise. We took our first cruise ever last year (on DCL of course, ;)) and now we're hooked. We going on a three nighter in just over 3 mo. It was that or nothing this year, so I chose a 3 nighter. I :lovestruc DCL now.
Have a great trip. :goodvibes

We did a lot of research on the Cruise Critic forums. Last time we went to Cozumel we booked an all-inclusive day at Nachi Cocom through Island Marketing Ltd. It was an incredible day for us that we'll always remember. The transaction was trouble-free.

I did the Rays, Reef and Rum tour with Native Way in Grand Cayman, it was great!

For Cozumel, I like Mr Sanchos. We always just hopped in a cab. They have large rocks close to shore and there are a ton of fish for snorkeling (I brought my own snorkel set). They also have margaritas the size of your head :)

Have fun with cruise critic, it is just as addictive as DIS :)

We used Captain Marvin's in Grand Cayman and it was great. We did a snorkeling / stingray tour and it was very reasonably priced. It was also much less crowded than other tours we saw at the stingray sandbar. Check them out at http://www.captainmarvins.com/

In Cozumel, we take a cab to Paradise Beach. It is a nice beach and has some neat water toys, like a water trampoline and rock climbing. I think it was $8 to get a wristband to be able to do the water toys. I think there was also a nice enough restaurant and bar area there.
