For all of us stuck in the NE snow belt, we should just go to Amy's Crackel Barrel. So what if it is a 16 hour drive just to eat. We could do it over a weekend.

Dan-- Boardman is right off the PA/Ohio turnpike. It is the first exit in Ohio, and Beaver Falls is one of the last exits.

All this talk of food is making me hungry. Now I need to fix dinner. Dan did you pick it up for me at the store?

I definitely think that you guys should come down to my Cracker Barrel. It's only minutes from the house, and I can even turn on the pool heater and we can hang out in there after we stuff ourselves with yummy food.

Snow flurries here again tonight--think that someone ought to trap that rodent of a groundhog and shoot him for predicting this weather. Oh well, poor fellow has to live in Puxatawney (sp) where there is nothing better to do than stay in a hole!!

Oh how I would love to be at Chris and Amy's house! I probably couldn't swim after eating at Cracker Barrel, but the thought of swimming in warm water during this cold crap sounds soooooo inviting!

Amy Do you ave a Steak and Shake or Fuddruckers--we don't ave either of those restaurants either. Was in Chattanoga last year and found a steak and shake and thought we died and went to heaven!!

Anyone watching the Robert Blake interview tonight? I think I'll watch it to see what he has to say--no reality tv tonight so I'm having withdrawals! Survivor tomorrow!!

Dan - come on down. We actually haven't turned the pool heater on yet. We usually wait until mid-March to turn it on, once the weather gets just a little warmer. Otherwise, the cost to heat it is out of this world. But, once it's heated, watch out!! We keep it pretty warm too (in the 80s). It feels great in the spring and fall when the temperature is in the 80s and so is the pool.

No Fuddrucker's anymore, but there's a Steak and Shake even closer than the Cracker Barrel!!!

No reality TV tonight, yikes!!! Actually, I'll probably see who they picked for American Idol, then I need to pack for our trip to Chicago. We leave tomorrow afternoon and I haven't done any packing. I did make my list, so I just need to start putting everything in the suitcases. And, I'll probably miss Survivor tomorrow night, since we'll just be getting off the plane at 6:30pm, and since it's central time, Survivor is on at 7pm. We won't even be out of the airport by then. Maybe I'll have to tape it for when I get home on Sunday night.

We'll be in the cold Chicago weather. Oh well, I plan on enjoying all of my favorites like Chicago pizza and good mexican food.

*Cost?
It's $20/person for 3 hours. Prepayment by check is required three months prior to excursion (July). They don't take credit cards. If we miss Key West, the checks will be refunded. I'll provide an address and more info on this in July so we can mail our checks to them.

*Place and time?
We are going to meet on Sunday, October 12th, 2003 at 1PM in front of the stairs to the Hilton Hotel Lobby. It's to the right of the red brick building (Custom House) as you leave the ship. The Magic usually docks in front of the Hilton Hotel.

*Electric Cart?
If one needs an electric cart, the scavenger hunt people can point you in the right direction to rent one. The two electric cart places they use are Key West Cruisers @ (305)294-4724 http://keywest.com/keywestcruisers/ on Truman Ave at Truman and Duval and Reef Mobile (formerly Randal J Scooters) @ (305) 296-0208 www.reefmobile.com on Greene Street (near Sloppy Joes Bar on Duval). The Reef Mobile Electric Carts are themed, but have changed management and are going to be themed according to "reefs", like shark, manatee, dolphin, baracouda or octopus in a reef theme instead of the polka-dotted one on the hunt website. Call these companies to make reservations if you require an electric cart. An electric cart isn't necessary to experience this tour.

*Sites?
Southermost Point, Hemmingways House, Shipwreck, Cigar Place, Shrimp Dock and off the wall places you might not normally have known about. The normal Key West sites plus some interesting wacky ones, too. Learn about interesting facts and trivia of these landmarks and sites.

*Hunting for objects?
In addition to searching for the sites and answering the clues (all for points are counted at the end for prizes), there is an object named "PINKY". He is their mascot and if you find him, he is worth an extra 50 points. People in Key West know of Pinky the Flamingo. He's famous. As our award winning scavenger hunt is, too. At the end of the hunt, people gather at the "mystery location" for the awards ceremony where all the points are tallied and stories of our hunt are told.

I miss reading for a few days and there are a MILLION posts added to this thread.

Okay, somewhere I missed that Tina, Bill, Dena and David were all going to be on this cruise. Now I know a BUNCH of people who are going to be on this one. (so much for anonymity)

You guys sure to talk a lot! I'm having trouble keeping up with you all. This should be an awesome cruise. My sister will be celebrating her honeymoon on the cruise so we are planning on having a BLAST!

Whew, now to try to catch up.
