You'll have to wait and see what we bring. Could it be NASA related??? Hubby started a new job this past month and they have a great gift shop in the lobby.

Tina

PAdisneyfan-don't eat too many pierogi's (except Mrs. T's) but our pizza is great. Travel several times a year to shop in Lancaster and get an "Amish fix"--especially like the jelly/jam at Kitchen Kettle. My sister actually lives in Harrisburg (Chambers Hill) and we have friends who live in Mechanicsburg so we are down your way alot. Also try to hit the Christmas show at the Farm Show Arena! The only restaurant that I keep hoping we get up here is Cracker Barrel--supposed to put one up by the Arena in Wilkes Barre but we will see. All of us PA cruisers should try to hook up for a meet before the ship!!

Bettemom--we will be staying in Killington, Vt. in August (last October stayed at Smuggler's notch but that road up there is a killer!)--Loved Stowe! I will email you with the exact dates and we will definitely meet up either in Vermont or New Hampshire.

GoofyNut I will email you or PM you and we can definitely do lunch this summer--just not at the hospital!! Our food is
  Have a sun shiney day!! MJ

Here's the scoop ... When I did the iron-on's last year I had everyone that was interested, PM me their REAL NAMES and mailing addresses. I did up the # of iron-on's that were needed for the people in the family and mailed them out ... everyone did their own shirts. That way seemed to work as then you knew you had a shirt that fit and if you wanted to make more than one you just copied the design on more iron-on paper.

I used the same design for the name-tags I made up ... these were laminated and handed out at the Radisson and Sail-Away on the ship.

That was my contribution to the give-away items!

BUT MaryJo, Nancy, and other fellow PA people ... maybe we can bring some "real snow" cones, cause at this d****d rate we'll still have snow here!

BTW DAN, tee hee....guess we both had our brains going faster than we could type!

MaryJo ... OMG, you like to go to the Craft Show in Harrisburg Too. Have we got something in common. I also heard that about Cracker Barrel, but where the heck is it? I'm dying for one of them. Art's not cause he knows it'll cost him $.

Back to work................

Eric I will tell you like the sign in the toyota prius says"Eat My Voltage!!!!" this from all of the cart people:jester:

We will go by the standard candy company and get some Goo-Goo's. Here is a link: GooGoo's Just be sure that you do not have any allergies to peanuts. Don't want to have to life-flight you out of there.

We had some ice this morning in the area, it has changed to rain and is changing back to sleet and snow tonight. Tomorrow back to rain. We need a cruise bad. Walt take me away. Mike

GoofyNut--the snow cones sound like an excellent idea because looking at some of the snow mounds outside of the hospital, we will have snow till the cows come home--there is just no where to put it. I'm sure all of the warm sunny posters would love to have some of our snow and I for one would be glad to give it to them!! I've had it for this winter--more nuisance snow tomorrow!

BTW, GoofyNut--rumor has it that CB is going to be going on the other side of the arena (on the way to Wegmans) but I am down there quite alot and still see no sign of building--there is a Bob Evans and a Bennigans opening this spring and there is also supposed to be a Pizza Uno. There are also going to be two new restaurants on Montage Mountain near Cinemark (oh God, more traffic on the exit that I use!!)--BTW, we in NE PA have been restaurant poor for so long--we just recently got 2 Olive Gardens; an Outback Steakhouse and even a Target!

Easy telling my boss isn't here--I am making up for all of the golf outings that he goes on for "Turf inspection tours"

Maybe instead of Buckeyes (there are plenty of others to bring them) we could bring Jones Potatoe Chips. They are made right here in Mansfield and are really good.

Dan

Can we have light yellow shirts for the hunt? Also white shirts for the logo? Did you know that in order to not impose copyright infringements that you could just change the numbers of fingers on Mickey! I was told this today but someone in the advertising industry. He said he has done 3 fingered Mickeys, Cinderellas Caste (with a mising Spire). He siad most people don't notice but it can be done.

Dan

Cathy and Mary Jo--- I have a cracker barrel in York. So you are welcome to come visit me and we can go there. I love their gift shop.

Nancy

Cracker Barrell- we have one about 5 miles from our house, how about you guys meet there and we can come too?

Dan

Dan--- How about we meet at one near Cincinnati when I'm out there for my conference in June?
Your treat of course, since I'm visiting your state.

Nancy

DAN ... and the REST OF THE GANG.... White shirts for the CRUISETOBERFEST and yellow for the ScavengEARS sound OK with me. I'm just thinking that would be the best ones for the iron-on to show up on. No to mention that if someone wants to have a tank type shirt, they are colors that are readily available.

Mary Jo ... I had thought about Schiff's Kielbasi but then thought just how in the world could I get it past the "sniffer dogs"! You can ask Kathy with @ K about my interview of "Jack" the sniffer dog from last year. Too funny a story.

Well gotta make it a quick supper tonite so I can try and work up the logo's once and for all.

Hey Rosemary, Dave, Chris ... where are you guys?

Cathy with @ C

OK sounds great. Course though Cincy is 4 hours away from us. Aren't you flying into Columbus? That is only an hour or so away.

Dan

Going to pick up my car now, it is amazing they can have a car all day and never get it done until half hour before closing time!

We also have to stop and get stuff for supper.

See ya real soon!

Dan

By the way, does anyone need anything from the store while we are out? Just call the cell phone if you do! Delivery is extra of course!

dan

Yes, Dan, we need some more Triaminic... the non-drowsy kind. When can we expect it?

Would be happy to meet at Dan's Cracker Barrel... only an hour from us.... and right on the way to Columbus! We sometimes go there for the weekend to COSI, etc.

Shirts sound great!

Gotta run... baby here, into everything... dryer buzzing... dishwasher needs unloaded. Will try to pop in later after work.

Colleen

That iron-on idea sounds great to me!!! But for us Geermans it might be better(Cheaper!!) to just mail us the design and we have it printed ba a local Tee-Shop or do it ourselves.
I'd also opt for the classic white tee. To say it clearly:
"If you want to see me in a pink tee, you have to pull it over my dead, cold body!":jester: (Yes, I stole that one from the NRA - But who cares :p )

Tina,
shall we send you the 40 bucks for the Hunt from Germany or can we pay you at the ship? We're good for credit, ask CheesePlease, he paid for our Tees last time and was instantly paid back ;) )

Mike,
I just read that the US-Military has a rocket which emits an EMP, disabling all electric devices in quite a large radius - Perhaps I can borrow one of these :jester: and even the odds a bit - LOL
I think our Hunt will change the face of KW. Imagine all the people looking at the weirdos chasing carts or racing carts across that beautiful island, knocking off hydrants and telephone poles.
It will be like Rat Race or the Cannonball Run :p

Dan--we're on for Cracker Barrel--doesn't matter that it is hours away--we currently drive 1 hour to either Binghamton, NY or Frackville, PA to go to the Cracker Barrel so what is another few hours--do they have a scavenger hunt there through the gift shop? I don't need an electric cart to go through the store though!!

Hopkins--you need to add us to the list for the scavenger hunt for KW--I will probably need an electric cart with my bum knee!!

GoofyNut--the kielbassi would be too funny although I agree with you that it is soo good! Maybe Gertrude Hawk chocolates; Minooka Bake Shop cookies, you'll have to help me choose something to bring!!

papa-just got a call from FedEx that all of their shipments to our hospital are delayed because there is such bad weather in Memphis--know you are a few hours away but how is your weather and please keep the yuckky weather down south for a change!!

Boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! You guys were a chatty group today!!! I was at someone else's house training for a new job today, and I came back to 3 new pages of posts.

I think that the white tees for Cruistoberfest and yellow for the hunt sound like great ideas. How big will the transfer be? I'm just thinking about it being too big for a 2yr old's t-shirt. Maybe it can be shrunk down a bit??

Tina - I still need to finalize with my DH about the hunt, but I do think that it sounds like a blast!!

I've been racking my brain (not a hard task) to think of something to bring for the cruise. Being from central FL, the only thing that I can think of is citrus and Mickey!! But, everyone's coming to FL, so those things are easy to come by. I'll just have to keep thinking. Maybe I'll make something!

Oooohhh, Cracker Barrell, we have one just about a mile away. I haven't been in a while, but I just love their breakfasts.

Eric--- I bet your buff body would look great in the pink shirt, especially with it being hot pink color.

Dan--- I am still waiting for conference details before I purchase my airfare. I am looking at Columbus since SWA flies into that airport and have the cheaper rates. Hope we can work something out to meet. Of course us PA gang could always drive to the PA/Ohio border and we could have a combined PA/Ohio meet. Isn't Boardman, Ohio right by the border along with Beaver Falls, PA.

It is snowing here again. It was so slippery here that I could hardly get up the driveway. Plus we have to go out again to go to a hockey game.
