Hi Folks,

I just discovered an unbelievable deal offered by two of Germany's largest Travel Agencies:
A ticket called Florida-Sun-In-The-Fun-Pass. This ticket covers everything the Unlimited Magic Pass is good for, plus admissions to Kennedy Space Center, Edison's Winter Homes , Miami SeaAquarium, The Dali Museum and some more. The Pass costs €309 which is also $309 and is valid for 30 days!!!
According to Dreams Unlimited this deal is not available in the US, because it is a Europeans-Only offer - Sorry, Pals ;)

Eric,
I saw this pass offered at http://www.paramountinternationaltravel.com/orderTickets.asp
for $310. An excellent deal for you. You also get a character breakfast included with all the admissions.
You may want to see if it will still be available for the dates of your trip.... this site says they'll expire on 4-29-03, unless I'm just confused by what they mean.
I'll copy and paste from the site for you so you can check into it with your TA if you want. Hopefully, you'll still be able to get them.

"Florida Fun In The Sun Ticket expires 29 days after the date of first use. Requests should be made at least 7 days prior. Some restrictions apply. The Florida Fun In The Sun Tickets or all tickets first used on or after March 31, 2003 will expire April 29,2003."

Had a great day today. Hubby got me new tennis shoes, which I desperatly needed. Starfish team gave me a beautiful flower arrangement, and a six pack of beer! LOL. Office manager gave me a great t-shirt (nursey saying) And my kids gave me hugs and kisses!:teeth:
Eric ; Twins are able to split their years because they have to share everything. So today we are 21 years old each.

Just two weeks till Christmas, soooo that means 13 days before I have to do my Christmas shopping!:bounce: :bounce:

Hi padisneyfan - Hope your son's computers (more than one?) arrived safe and sound yesterday. And welcome back from your long weekend at WDW. Did you get to run into any of the DisCon crew that were down there at the same time?

Hi papa - I hope Dan enjoyed his trip to NY also. I am anxious to hear something from him soon.
Oh Mr. DAN!! ARE YOU OUT THERE?? Tell us you arrived home safe and sound!

And Mike, you guys now own a fax machine? Busy, busy, busy. But, you both are doing good works and that is just wonderful. Just don't wear yourselves out, ya hear!

And regarding your Cozumel question, don't ask us. We are the procrastinators!! LOL

Posted by Viking: Mike, we intend to test our Spanish in Cozumel - LOL
Do you have any prepositions?
Eric -
PREPOSITIONS?? Me thinks you might mean propositions. (Which can be misinterpreted a whole other way!)

scootersmom - Hi. I know what you mean about trying to keep up with the thread. It can be overwhelming at times, I find especially so when I will read posts but not respond right away, or if I don't visit the thread for a while. I try though, and obviously you are too.

Okay, either you or Eric has to tell me HOW to do alt124. I hit the alt key and as soon as I hit the 1, I get the dreaded BONG sound on the computer that I am trying to do something I can't do. So I am at a loss on how to make the perfect Santy Claus.

It seems like everyone had a good time at the 'tulihouse' this past weekend! And we weren't at all worried about you talking about us! LOL
Hmm... perhaps you SHOULD have been worried about the talking we did!!! LOL (just kidding).

Hope it's not too late to add my birthday wishes to Mary and Ave.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BOTH OF YOUS!!!!

Ave - Your team gave you a six-pack of beer? Now I KNOW you are definitely Mary's twin! LOL

By TwinAve: Just two weeks till Christmas, soooo that means 13 days before I have to do my Christmas shopping!
At first I thought this meant that you are a procrastinator like me and have yet to do anything for Christmas yet. But then I wondered if it meant that you go shopping the day after Christmas for your presents for the following year. That would be more in line with being Mary's twin than the former. LOL

Eric - Congratulations on your Fun-in-the-Sun find!

tulirose: To do the alt124, hold the alt key down while pressing 1, then 2, then 4 on the number pad to your right, not the ones above. Then, release the alt key and you should have the perfect Santa Claus! Let me know if that works for you.

Colleen

<<(-:|>o

Ah = Thanks Colleen. Now my left-handed Santy is PERFECTO!!!

:teeth: :teeth:

BTW - One post away from 950!!!

Tulirose
I am safe and sound at home, now catching up everything at work! I had a great visit with you and Rich!

Will post more later.

Dan

Rosemary,

thanks for the correction - This was a Germanism: In the language of poets and thinkers ;) it's Präposition.

ROTFLMAO
Tulirose; No I'm NOT getting ready for next year. I do a classic "panic buying" shopping trip on Christmas Eve. This is how it works: Get off work at noon on 12/24, go to Walmart, walk (run) down isles grabing anything that looks like it could be a good gift for someone. Flame the credit card.Come home, wrap each gift while figureing out who to give it to. Yell at DH. Find out I forgot 2-3 gifts. Panic again, run back to Walmart, flame the credit card, again. Pray that the cashier doesn't say the dredded, "I'm sorry you're over your limit".... More wrapping, scream at kids to stay out of my bedroom, which now looks like a Santa's workshop after a nuclear meltdown, run out of tape, finish the last three wrappings using Duck tape. Load presents into minivan, bring to DH parent's house. Feed DH and kids PB&J for dinner, yell at everyone ONE MORE TIME!! Go to sleep and dream of sugarplums!;) No worrys until next Christmas Eve!!:smooth:

 LOL Priceless post, TwinAve. You should post on my "I've Done Nothing to Get Ready for the Holidays" thread over on the community board!

Hey, yesterday we were at the 10 month mark!

Very funny, Ave :p

But what the h... is PB&J? I suspect it is some microwave-junk, but would like to know exactly

BTW, after Rosie correcting my "preposition" it's now my turn: Do you make "Duck Tape" out of Donald or out of Daisy? Because I usually use duct tape :jester:

ROTFLMAO! Ave ...TOO FUNNY! Are you sure we are related?? I start my Christmas shopping in Aug. when buying the kids school supplies, then I try to get a few items each month. Very boring but my credit cards don't take a beating!

Eric, PB&J is Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches.

Thanks to all for the Birthday wishes. I took the day off, slept late (9am) then went to finish my Christmas shopping.

Last week a young girl came into our office. She is pregnant, and the father of the baby threw her out. She has No family here, no way to get back to NY AND she was very sick. My boss called everyone she could think of to get this girl into some sort of shelter, but the best she could do was a home for pregnant teens (this girl is 22 y/o) and it would be 4 days before they had a room. She came back a few days later, so sick she had to be admitted to the hospital (kidney infection). She is now in the "home" and getting healthy. Our office has "adopted her". Instead of getting each other gifts we are going to spend the money on basic stuff for Andrea. Please remember this young lady and her baby, in your prayers.

Hi Folks,

I just returned from my second Xmas-party in two days. Yesterday we had the craziest office-xmas-party in years: We had a large tent erected at one of the bathing lakes south of Frankfurt. They put it right on the sand of the beachvolleyball-court and preheated the tent and the sand to slightly above 80ºF. So everybody could party in shorts and Tee-shirt with bare feet. Everone got a tropical head and a flower-necklace like in Hawaii, etc. And all this at outside temps of about 22ºF!!!
Crazy Germans ;) :p :jester:

Today we partied in a traditional German restaurant with the people of my department.

Anja's still with all her collegues at an Australian restaurant munching Emu-Burgers and Cangaroo-Steaks.

Tomorrow we will go to a nearby mall and do some xmas-shopping. Due to the low economy and the chaotic tax-policy of our government all shops are granting big rebates to boost sales.

Sounds like a great party Eric. DH and I are heading to his company's Christmas party in about an hour. It's just your basic hotel party with cocktails, dinner and dancing. But, it's better than nothing. My company doesn't do anything for us for the holidays, and it's a big name communications company. Oh well, at least one of us works for a company with perks.

FL got drenched today. We had over 4 inches of rain today and my pool overflowed right into my family room. What a mess!! It's all cleaned up now, but what a way to start Friday the 13th!!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello 10/11 cruisers!

We are displaced 11/30 cruisers who will finally get to their Magic voyage on 10/11! What a fun bunch we get to sail with!

Our party consists of me (39 by then...ouch!), DH37, DD11, DS7, DD's Friend11, my mother and my father. Friends of ours, with children the same ages as ours, will also be sailing on 10/11, although they haven't booked yet.

We spent our planned 11/30 cruise in WDW instead but had a marvelous time and now look forward to a cruise next year. We've switched from the Eastern to the Western so I have some new homework to keep me busy.

Can't wait to meet you all.
