Rosemary, George just did a big tile job. It has to dry for at least 2 days (3 is better) before it can be sealed.
Even if he is as fast as DH I would plan on him being there at least another 2 days,then he will come back on the 3rd to seal the tile. I'd say you'll have the new bathroom ready by the weekend!Remember, once the grout is done, you can't walk on it for 24 hours. This may delay the rest of the things you are having done.
It sounds very nice!

Mike - I think I figured out your signature problem. You are trying to take the photo from the PictureTrails site and you have them all locked in there. You have them NOT to be copied off the site. You have to go into your picture edit options and unclick the box next to "Prevent Mouse right-click copying of Picture". I think that will do the trick.

Mary - Three days before he can seal the tile!?! I didn't even know the tile had to be sealed! It's not even gouted yet. The floor was put down on Wednesday and the wall tile was done today. I figure he will grout them both tomorrow. And we just realized tonight that the towel rack we bought (24 inches and matches faucet) will no longer fit in the space we want it. It USED to be a larger wall area before the new tile placement, now it is more like 20 inches.

Oh well, we will have to return both that 24 inch rack and the matching towel ring and since this style does not come in 18", we will have to get a cheaper one. That will make Rich happy. I spent a ridiculous amount of money on these two items cuz I wanted them to match the faucet. Oh well, money back in our pocket is good.

Wow! You've all been busy posting! It will be a challenge to catch up.

Welcome to SueEllen! Glad you're joining us on the Cruisetoberfest II. I just jumped in here last week. I think some of the group already know each other, but either way, they make you feel welcome.

DopeysGal- Nine hours at the mall!?! I admire your stamina. After 3 or four hours I'm ready to call it quits and head for home. Sounds like you had a fun day.

Viking-- Hope you and Anja can see HP soon. We really enjoyed it, although there were a couple of creepy parts that Josh leaned over and whispered for me to please put my arm around his shoulders. Now he's asking to go see it again though.

Kathy-- How nice that you work in the NICU. Our DD was in the NICU at Akron Children's for a month before we could bring her home... emergency c-section at 30 weeks. They do a terrific job there and made a scary time so much easier.

Neat that you are also a Scooter's mom. The name didn't stick here since he wouldn't let anyone call him that!

Tulirose-- Are you figuring out a way for us all to chat? My family has two chat nights a week and we all just downloaded the AIM... it works out great for us. Might be something to consider. We just set a day and time and whoever can show up to chat is fine.

Your new bathroom sounds great! I love reading about other people's remodeling, etc. since our house was built in 1909 and sadly neglected when we bought it, but we liked it's 'possibilities'. Good thing we've taken lots of before and after pics or we'd be going nuts with it. The past owners apparently loved wallpaper! It was on every ceiling, every wall. We just had new siding and all new windows put in this past summer, now working on the dining room and upstairs bath, trying to keep it in line with what's already there, ie clawfoot tub, etc. It's a slow process.

Wow, you guys have been posting like crazy.

Well, I've been having a fun beginning of the week. I had to go to the dentist yesterday, because I started having pains over the weekend whenever I drank anything cold. The dentist informed me that I had a cracked tooth and I would need to get a root canal and crown. So, I spent this morning getting the root canal and I'll go back to the dentist on the Monday after my vacation to WDW to get the crown molded. But, at least the pain is gone and my vacation won't be ruined by not being able to drink anything cold.

SueEllen - Welcome to the group. I'm also new to the group, but everyone is so awesome.

Viking - I think the website idea is great. We wouldn't mind having out picture out there. We have our own website too, so all of our family pictures are on the net anyway.

Well, I better get back to work. I work at home, but I don't want the boss to get mad that I'm not being productive. But, I'd much rather hang around the DIS boards all day.

Haven't received an email saying there was a reply to this post. Just out of curiousity I came here and whaddayaknow! Three pages! I must have missed the last "message".
Having weird weather here. 60 today! down to 32 at night.
Dogs woke me up at 3 am. Looked out the bedroom window and there were three deer on the front grass! The moon was so bright they were easily seem. Was a beautiful sight. Even woke Bill up to see them. He didin't think they were are beautiful as I did. something about they are more beautiful during "normal waking hours"!

Picturetrail will not let me link to the photo that I wanted to use in my signature That is why I had to go back to my old signature.

Kathy has been busy with her work in the NICU and her seeing patients for the Nurses for Newborns job. I use my gps to navigate from one address to the other and it has saved us a ton of time by not getting lost and me not loosing my cool

Hi Elaine, I just asked Mike if you had said anything about the pins for William that I sent and his reply was "You haven't sent them." Opps! I am so sorry cause I ment to send them as soon as I got them. I am so sorry. Please tell William that I loved the ones he sent and I do have a couple here for him.

Rosemary, I am so envious of your remodeling. I just wish I could find someone to remodel both our bathrooms and the kitchen. DD1 is getting a new roof and new walls and floors in her home due to some storm damage and damage from a previous owner who lost the home when it was repossed. (sp?) We thought the water damage was from the airconditioning system but found out the roof was nearly gone from a storm and that caused a LOT of water damage.

Ave, Mary, I am having so much fun with Nurses for Newborns that I just can't tell you. One of my patients didn't have smoke dectors and I called the fire department. They gave me one for her and then took our business card in case they can help someone else!

We have only one baby in the NICU so they let me stay home tonight! Had to take a vacation day but what the heck. I'm home!

scootersmom, how is your DD doing? Is she ok? How old is she? I have a friend who used to work at that hospital. She loved it but moved here when her (Ex- now) Husband moved to Murfreesboro, Tenn. She works with me here in Nashville. She is now remarried to a wonderful man who teaches at Webb school, in Bell Buckle, Tenn.

Nancy, how are the tournaments going? Bunny said to say Hello.

I wanted to get on the boards last night but almost got 'caught' at work and had to switch to a (shiver) "care plan" that I needed to work on when the Supervisor came in so did not get to say hello. Well, with only the one baby we do have down time. What can I say...

Yes Dan, Katie was in a full blown SNIT! However she has worn that outfit several times now and is adorable in both outfits. You really ought to check her out in Picture trail. She is part of a "Hidden Mickey". Cathy, with a "C" will appreciate that picture.

Just checking in on you guys ... got my paw out of the cast on Friday and had the stitches out. Ugly with a capital U. Surgeon's Dad died suddenly so thus the delay in my first post-op check up.
Can't believe how sore my hand still is ... not to mention the tingling is wierd. Guess I was expecting a lost since it's only 3 weeks tommow. Mike ... was your paw like that?

After checking the last couple of pages I see that Dan & Rosemary are back to normal! Nice to see you posting.

Supposedly going back to work Monday - hope I didn't make a booboo by going back to such hand demanding tasks.

Going to try and so some Christmas wrapping tomorrow and see who I still need gifts for. Dan are you sure that you have been a good little boy? BTW way to go with recruiting people for our Cruisetoberfest II.

Mike ... tell me agin how to get to Katie's pictures. Want to see her in the Hidden Mickey.

PS ... You guys see on TV all the trouble that the one cruise line had with people getting sick. Think it was Royal Caribbean. Has 500 people sick on one ship in the last 30 days ... not good. Glad Disney is such sticklers for perfection.

Elaine--- I am like you didn't get email that their was postings. So have you changed the locks to the computer room to keep Bill out?

Mike--- I loved all your pictures and the one with Katie and the hidden Mickey is so cute. You should need it in to the Disney Magazine. Also liked all the DisCruisers pictures, brings back all those wonderful memories.

Only 8 days till the Thanksgiving tournament starts and 10 days till it is over. Instead of counting days till crusing, I am counting the days till the tournament starts and ends. Then only 1 more to go.

Kathy--- I didn't have time to email Bunny yet. I thought when the boys went away to college I would have more free time. Please tell her she is in my thoughts and will try to send off an email to her soon. Everything with me is going fine so far.
