Mary Jo-- Thanks for the well wishes for Josh. I feel really sorry for him. He's absolutely worn out from being sick so long. Requests early bedtime almost every night and that's really unusual. Hopefully, the meds will kick in quickly.

Colleen

Dan ... I just e-mailed you my Disney Conf #. I believe we are already "linked" with Papa, Viking & CheesePlease. It's so nice that they can put all the Cruisetoberfest gang in the same area. There just isn't a table big enough to get us all together and this is next best thing. I guess they saw "our numbers" and decided they don't need a mutany (sp). BTW just what is the tip you are expecting?

:Pinkbounc For the Hidden Mickey Fans :Pinkbounc I see on the "news page" that there is finally a book out there!

Gotta run ... Please don't do 5 pages overnight!

Cathy with @ C

Mike

Viking; Great news about Roland's mom. Must be all that pixie dust!

Padisneyfan; Congrats to your son and his team (and to you and Norm)
Wow, the Palo's Brunch Group is off to a great start. The current count is 23 people.

Okay! It's Official! I GIVE UP!!! There is no way in hell I can respond like I would really like to do to everyone who is posting. *BIG SIGH* Just suffice it to say I am reading the thread and ALL the posts!

A few things to mention, however:

A BIG YIPPIE!! that Roland's mom is doing so very well following her surgery. Prayers and Pixie Dust do work!
:bounce:

geez... I can't remember what else.....Welcome Homes, Get Well Soons and Congratulations to all appropriate people.......

What was that saying papa said once?? I'm experiencing a "brain fart" right now. That was his saying - very descriptive and very accurate one too!

I went to exercise class three days in a row. I think I am getting addicted. I am actually *GASP!!* thinking of taping Survivor so I can attend Thursday night's class!!!! YIKES!!!
 :earseek:  :earseek:

Doug--okwmiester...your old pal Beano is looking for you on the thread 10/18/03 cruise!!

Friends of mine from work were thinking of doing the 10/18 cruise so I introduced her to the boards and we were reading this thread earlier!!

Funny thing is, I went to have my taxes done and my accountant's son is also a disney nut and is always on these boards (doesn't go on the cruise board too often though!)

Oh! An Austrailian Shepherd! My SIL had two and both were great dogs. However, I grew VERY attached to her last one - we used to doggie sit for him often. I still miss him very much! He would just make us laugh and laugh.

tulirose...the funny thing is, is that our dog doesn't have a tail--needless to say when we get home from work, she greets us by shaking her stump so her whole back end shakes!! We love her dearly and she is spoiled rotten. We actually got her after my last dog had to be put to sleep. We had our last dog for 17 years and when she was 16 years old, she had a tumor in her eye--we had to take her to Cornell (in Itacha (sp?) NY) and she had to have her eye removed--she was already blind in the eye--talk about a state of the art hospital for animals--I can appreciate what you paid for Oliver's care--Cornell was a fortune but if it was your child, you would pay whatever and that is what we felt. After our other dog died, I said no more dogs ever!! Then we went to breakfast the next morning and spotted Precious and it was love at first sight!! Sarah says I worry more about Precious than I do about her!! Not true!! Going to bed--have a good night!!

Eric--- Please pass on my Get Well Wishes to Roland's mom. I am so glad to hear that she is doing well after her surgery, with no major residual effects. She will be in my prayers.

Mary--- DS's game score California University of PA 6
Penn State Behrand 4

Thanks to everyone for your congratulations. Just wish we could have seen that Championship Game.

Rosemary--- You and I will have to hit the exercise classes together on the cruise. That way we can eat all those desserts and not gain any weight. (Yea, right unless we are spending most of our time exercising and not much eating and that's not fun).

So if I want warm weather, I need to go to Alaska. Something is wrong with that picture. Plus one of my Pride Cruisecritic friends from Vt. said they hardly have any snow. Cold but not snow. Bette do you have much snow in NH?

I need to go off to bed. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Nancy

Bette--- I had a senior moment with that snow question. Of course you have alot of snow, you are bring the snowcones for the cruise.

Nancy

Wow, what a stressful day today was.

I work at home for my company and on Friday (when I was out of town) my manager sent out an email to all of the telecommuters in our department that we needed to come into the office today. Well, everyone was speculating what it was about. When I got there, the consensus was that it was regarding layoffs. They took each of us in individually to let us know if we were keeping our jobs. As I waited, I just kept thinking about what would happen if I lost my job. Thank goodness, I received a letter of retention, so my job is safe. However, I do know of at least one person in my department that was given a 60 day notice. Good for me, bad for her!!!

Then, I'm a scrapbooker, and Creating Keepsakes (a major scrapbooking magazine) is have their Creating Keepsakes University at WDW in June. Registration was at 10pm. And, after several tries and their servers crashing on multiple occasions, I finally got in!! I just finished signing up for my classes and I was just getting ready to go to bed, but I had to check the thread so that I didn't get so far behind.

Well, good night everyone, and here's hoping that tomorrow (or today technically) is a less stressful day!!!

alikat99,

Only one more night (Wednesday) then I am off for two days and then back Saturday and Sunday nights. (One day of overtime!) Yea!

Our DD and DSIL's kitchen floor was fixed yesterday and Mike and I found out that the vinyl flooring was not covered in the contract. Well, now we have to get the vinyl floor before the workmen are finished because the guy who is doing the repairs on the house said he would put it down and not charge any more for it. The floor was soft from the leaking roof. The roof is fixed, the walls are repaired and now the floor will be fixed! Whew! A little stress here and a little stress there............No wonder I am a little loopy!

Take care, Kathy with a K

 :earseek:  :earseek:

"Cerebral Diarrhea" is also a good term :jester:

Rosemary, we're proud of you, but be careful. Your body needs rest to regenerate. We usually rest wednesday and saturday, but I have to admit that sometimes we also tend to be pushing too hard

Kathy,
Anja's stressed at the hopital, too. Instead of the usual five RNs for the dayshift, they're down to TWO!! due to sickness. That's two RNs for 29 patients :(

Now when I have a lapse I just call it a senior moment. Eric I hope that Roland and his DW will be able to join us on the cruise. That way y'all can talk back and forth about us and we will not even know:jester:  Hope that everyone at Anja's work gets back to health soon as takes some of the stress off of her. Mike

Rosemary went to Opry Mills Mall and stopped at the oshkosh store. Picked up a couple of bib overalls for Katie. I will have to get Kathy to embroider some Disney stuff on the legs.

Hope that the snow is melting for those of you up North. High today is supposed to be 63º F here today. Guess that we will be able to put away the ice melt bags along with the bag of sand as we no longer need them to get up the driveway.

Ave there can be no drive-by canning's in Key West. That would be littering and I would have to rat on you. While they had you detained we would race by and leave you in the dust;)

Cathy hope that the pile of paperwork is diminished somewhat and has Ashlee found anymore black jellybeans in the yard??

Nancy Bunny looked great the other night and she is looking forward to her trip to London on Saturday.

Dan hope that you and Scott will enjoy your trip to the world. Mike

Snow has not melted here at all. In fact we just got 15cm more!

We have an inground pool in the backyard but you can't tell because there is so much snow. Does anyone want some? The news says that this has been the coldest winter in 9 years.

63F would be heaven here but I guess we have a ways to go yet. Hopefully it will finally melt. I don't recall a winter where the snow has stayed on the ground the entire winter. Usually it comes and stays for only a few days and then everything is brown rather than white.

Waiting for spring.

Fiona
