Happy Birthday To Emily!

Today is my best friends' sons first birthday. We'll be going to his party this afternoon. I'm actually leaving DH and the twins home (they'll be sleeping) since it's during their naptime I figured we'd all be better off if they stay home and get their rest.

It is warming up here again. Going to be in the high 70's all week! Just yesterday I got out all the winter clothes since it's been so cold, so now it's going to warm up again.

I also have not been sleeping well. My bedtime is later and later, as I keep thinking of things I need to do.

Just a few more days!

Packing - Since I just got back from 7 days on the Wonder (back-to-backs) and did <I>Triton's</I> three times and <I>Palo</I> twice, I'm just adding one more dressy dress, washing some things and re-packing them. At least it will be a different set of CM's this time, so they won't recognize me by my attire.

BTW - While onboard the Wonder this time, I booked the 2004 Halloween Magic (Oct. 30, 04 Eastern). I like sailing this time of year and was able to get my favorite 7628, so I "just did it." Is anyone else here planning on that sailing? I'm hoping to book a Jan. or Feb. Wonder also.

IS anyone bring a hole punch? I had one last year to put holes in the KTTW card, but (big surprise) the kids have managed to misplace it. I put one on my lastest shopping list if need be.

Boy I can't wait to hit that warmer weather. Right now it's 56 degrees, which is warmer than it's been, but I can't wait for the 80's.

Spent yesterday running all over the place, but got most everything done. Even got my tire fixed for FREE! I have started packing, but today I'm going to work on getting the laundry caught up, and iron the clothes I plan on taking. I've put on a bit of weight since last year, so I'm trying everything on. If I wasn't going on the cruise I would be very depressed.
I finished paying most of my bills, just can't mail them yet.

So much to do and so little time. I should not be on the computer right now--I should be packing, doing laundry, vacuuming, etc. but here I sit!!

Mary - I just pulled our hole puncher out of the drawer and put it with items that we will be packing in carryon luggage. So, don't bother going out to get one. Yours will show up as soon as you return home I bet.

Got lots to do today. Now Oliver is limping really bad and so we have to make another trip 20 mile trip out to the Vet and while there we will be stopping by niece's house to visit. This is NOT procrastinating, BTW. LOL!

Richard emptied and cleaned hot tub this a.m. and is refilling it so we will be able to enjoy that upon our return. TeenSon worked very late last night but he promised to change oil today on the car we are taking to Florida.

Wish I got around to looking at my dresses last night. Wondering if the long gown will be too formal. It is more than just a nice long dress and if I do take that then that means another pair of shoes because I need to wear flats with that gown. Oh well. I'll definitely do tryons tonight and figure it out then.

I am remarkably calm. No stressing. What gets done, gets done. What doesn't, doesn't. We will still have a great time. See you guys soon.

Denise, I use a hole punch to put a hole in my KTTW card. This way I can attach it to our lanyards. It makes it easier for the kids (and adults too!) to keep up with our KTTW cards (room keys)

I thought they punched a hole in your card if you don't want charging privelages. I was told to take my KTTW card to GS and they would punch a hole in it so the dd's couldn't charge anything.

Hope, I never heard of them punching a hole in the card to prevent charging. I did make sure that DS card could not be used to charge. That arcade can cost you a LOT of $$$. I think I had to go to Guest Services for that....not sure.
If you punch your card, make sure to punch it on the short end, and on the oppisite end of Mickey. Otherwise it could mess up when trying to get in your stateroom. At least this is what I've been told.
This reminds me of waiting on line at the port last year. One of the husbands ( I think it was BethE's DH, Eric ) got ahold of a hole puncher, and proceeded to work his way around to all the DISers on line, punching holes and cutting up with everyone. Although he had never posted, he felt like he knew everyone from listening to his wife talk about us. Beth was joking that he was always happy as long as he had a tool in his hands!

I have heard that also, but not sure how that works since I don't have kids.

I would <I>never</I> punch a hole in my KTTW card. I like to save them in their "original" condition . I wear mine in the plastic card holder that's attached to my lanyard.

But for those who do decide to punch a hole, do it at the opposite end of the card from Tinkerbell (It's no longer Mickey, unless they changed it back since this week).

Hi Everyone,
What's this about room changes? We're in 7516, cat 5 verandah. Is anyone near us? How can we find out if we've been changed. Even though we are really happy with our room ( we have the front verandah so I don't have athsma attacks because of someone's smoke blowing into our verandah) it would be cool to be upgraded...
I'm also having trouble getting family to start packing. They think they can do it in an hour on Friday. I am having a family meeting today to tell them what's all on my lists and enlist some help. They are willing to help, don't get me wrong, they just don't know everything that goes into getting ready to pack... It'll work out, no problem, I've just been stressing about it.

Yes, I'm bringing 2 actually, for scrapbooking... I don't think they will take that away from me... at least I don't think it can be concidered a weapon of any kind, do you? I'll have it if you need to use it, but what would you want to put holes in your KTTW card for? Let me know, because I may need to do that too!

Chris just got back from the tuxedo place and he got a great new tuxedo. Actually, the jacket and pants are new, the shirt and cufflinks are used. We have a Sacino's outlet close by, so Chris got a pretty good deal. Then, we bought a couple of Mickey tuxedo vests on eBay. He will look dapper in his new fancy clothes.
