Did I get 4900????? Since Scootersdad got 4800, I wanted to try for 4900!!! Am I the only one on the boards tonight??? Mary Jo

Hi Mary Jo - I was also wondering about Fiona & Jim and Mike & Kathy and if they arrived safely back home. They need to rest up, I'm sure from their long drives.

Yes, Richie finally got the motorcycle on Saturday and is making me a nervous mommy!

BTW - In regards to your posting when you first arrived home last night and how Sarah was breathing down your neck to use the computer - Rich said it was because she probably wants to warn the rest of the Cruisetoberfest teens of what we adults are like!! LOL!!!

Yes - and good eyes. I missed that Mary wrote Palo brunch on Sunday again. It IS on Monday. Correction time Mary!

Tullirose and Tullirich...how about her trying to get to the Minnesota meet...to meet her email friends...I told her that I have a wedding on that Saturday anyway and she reminded me that I don't even want to go to the wedding but felt obligated to attend!! Actually, she has attended all of the mini meets and there have been no kids present and she hasn't minded...I think being an only child she is used to being with adults so it is not a problem with her. She always brings a book with her where ever she goes (she had 3 with her on the luncheon cruise) and if I embarrass her, she opens her book and puts it in front of her face!! Since she is quite a traveller, she thought maybe she could fly out to meet her friends and have Matty204 (Kelsie's dad) pick her up!!!--she even checked out the airfares and at $1225.00 round trip for one person, you can imagine what my answer was!!! Mary Jo

I can't belive I did it AGAIN!!!:o
YES, BRUNCH IS ON MONDAY! I will write this 100 times!!LOL!

For those people staying at the Radisson, would you please let me know your aprox. arrival time. I am trying to formulate a plan for our meet there and would like to do this to include everyone if possible. Is anyone getting there early (like 2ish) ?
69 days to go gang!

The bathroom remodel project is almost compleat! DH is hanging the mirror over the sink, and the towel bars and it will be done! It looks GREAT!

Relling Twin...I am on and off of these boards all night...whenever my daughter will let me go on the computer for 5 minutes!! We are flying in on Thursday night and get in around 11:30 p.m. so we have decided to stay at the Hyatt airport (if I ever make reservations!!) and rent a car and then go to Epcot or MGM for the day...we plan to leave hopefully around 5:00 pm for the drive to the Radisson--we haven't decided whether to turn the car in on Friday night or Saturday morning and since I haven't made the car reservation yet, I don't know if we will use Budget or Avis...I read somewhere that Avis is no longer at the Radisson so I don't know if I drop the car off on Friday night, will they take me back to the hotel?? Anyway, we should be settled in by 7:00 p.m.

This is it for me tonight...I'm off to bed!! Mary Jo

While most people at work were bummed because the Eagles lost, I was happy!!

Mary Jo - I didn't know that you were a Bucs fan!!! Go Bucs!! Did you see the game the other morning. I just didn't have the energy to get up at, like, 5am to watch football. But, I was happy with the final score. Go Bucs!!! I've only been to one game, way back when I was in college, but I used to work right across the street from the stadium. My company is still there, I just work from home now. I watched the old "sombrero" come down and the new stadium go up. It was pretty cool. I'm actually originally from Chicago, but I never was much of a Bears fan. But, it's hard not to be a football fan in this town.

Thanks! That means that it will take Chris about 45 minutes to get there the way he drives. ;) ;) ;)

Hey guys!! We just got home from WDW this evening. We headed over there after church today. Epcot was having the annual passholders & premium annual passholders special event at the new Mission: Space ride. Wow, is all that I can say!! It is very, very cool. I have to say though, that if you get even the slightest bit queasy on rides, this isn't for you. Normally, those simulator type rides (Body Wars/Star Wars) don't bother me at all. But, I got out of Mission: Space thinking "Wow, don't know if I'll be able to do that ride very often." And later, I was telling Chris that I know exactly when I felt that same feeling, when I had morning sickness 3 years ago with Emily, for 3 months. He actually commented, "wow, if I felt like that, we wouldn't have another baby." At least now, he knows how I felt. But, if you have a strong stomach, it really is a cool ride. And, there is a childs play area (for baby-swapping parents & children). There are games to play and you can send videos too.

Amy - Glad you had a nice day at WDW. I don't think you will ever catch me on Mission to Mars or whatever the name of that is. I guess I am one of those fuddy duddy folks who is old before my time. I found Back To The Future and Star Wars both nauseating. There is no way I would even get near Body Wars or RockinRoller Coaster. The Tower of Terror is my limit. Guess some people may consider me not a fun person!

MaryJo - These are for you:

Nice bike, Rosemary.
But I'm not the crotchrocket type, I prefer the classic naked bikes.
And you would never see me in shorts and shirt on a bike. I had three bikes totalled by bad car-drivers and only came out of the accidents more or less unharmed, because I always wear protective clothing (And was lucky, too). Perhaps you should talk to Richie about that. Riding bikes is a lot of fun, but you should do as much as possible to reduce the risk.

Mike,
got the pic and will put it on the page ASAP. Everybody who is on the pic will "lose" his/her single pic, but we need the space.
Love the doggy with the glasses ;)

SPECIAL OFFER!!!SPECIAL OFFER!!!

I will produce a special limited edition of a picture CD containing all pics which have been sent to me so far or will be sent to me within the next days. As those pics won't fill a CD, I will additionally put pictures of Disneyland Paris, of Berlin, of Paris and Munich on it.

If you want one:
-Send a short mail to cruisetoberfest2@aol.com
-The CDs will be awarded on a first come/first served-basis
-Eligible for a CD are only people who have already sent their picture (The group-photo from Baltimore counts!!) or people who attach a pic to their mail.

10 CDs it is - None more/none less

We would love one Eric !!!! Thank-you sooooo much...

Bette & Kim

We are now home finally! We got home at about 3am from a great weekend. It was so great to actually 'meet' people before the cruise.

After we left the cruise I whined that we had to see something in Baltimore before we left so we went over and saw Fort McHenry which was really interesting even though "we" lost that battle! Afterwards we started the drive home and got just inside Penn where we stopped for the night and slept 10 hours! In the morning Jim was feeling much better than he has the last few days and he was looking at the map and decided since we were there that Gettysburg wasn't that far so yesterday morning we headed over there. I knew that I had seen it as a child but couldn't really remember much. My Dad is a history freak (passed on to both my DB and I) and we took lots of driving vacations as kids to lots of history locations. My Mom on the other hand isn't such a history buff but went along with it.

We thought we'd spend about 2 hours seeing it but ending up spending most of the day there -- hence the late arrival home. It was very hot but luckily the car has air conditioning.

Drive home was uneventful although we took all back roads again -- if Jim has a choice he'll take the back road over the highway even if it takes 3x as long! Oh well it was an interesting drive.

Going back to bed now as I'm tired. Tried to get the dog to go outside when we got home so that she wouldn't wake me up at 6:45am but no luck. Hence this post after skimming the pages of posts since we've been gone.

Welcome Piglet33 (hope that's right). We will probably be staying at the Radisson the night before (have to make the reservation) and we will be attending MNSSHP on the 19th (already have tickets for that one).

I'm not sure what time we will be arriving at the Raddison as that will depend if we leave Wednesday afternoon (planning on this but you never know) or early Thursday morning. If we leave Wednesday we will probably get to the Raddisson sometime in the afternoon but if we leave Thurs morning it will be really late Friday night.

Glad everyone got home safely. Now I really am going to go back to bed -- although I should wake Jim up since Lily (the dog) never bothers him to let her out in the morning!

Fiona
