The time is 945pm and we still are in the 90ies  :smooth:

The first 4 CDs go to:
-Bette
-MaryJo
-Colleen
-Doug (Thanks for providing your mail adress, Doug - But this CD will be hand-delivered to you by the one and only Viking;) )
I once mailed a whole bunch of CDs to the States in it cost me an arm and a leg - Believe me!!!

This means: There are still 6 CD left.

My computer-room is about 120 square-feet, under a slanted roof facing West - So this is my last post today to prevent me from melting. I think I move to Texas or to Hell - Any place cooler than Germany is welcome

Arlene...this is what I found out from Shirley at The Perfect Gift (she is such a sweetheart) who called Avis for us...Avis has moved from the Radisson and you can drop the car off (only between certain hours) and they will give you a ride back to either the ship or the Radisson only catch is the hours...Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It looks like we will be dropping the car off at the Avis (unless we rent from Budget) location on Saturday since I'm sure we will get in after 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hope this helps a little. I also have some Avis coupons from Sam's club if anyone could use them.

One last post before I retreat to the living room:
I just paid the final 200o bucks for the cruise. Due to the low Dollar I stayed about €230 below budget :bounce: :bounce: Which nearly pays for all our shore excursions:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Now I have to leave - I just had steam coming out of my ears :p

Good Night, everyone

Bettemom - I was just telling Rich I want to get back into doing Counted Cross stitching, especially for the car ride down. To Baltimore and back I was working on an eyeglass case thing but not counted cross stitch - the yarn thing (I forget what that is called). What kind of stuff do you have? Anything not too big of a project?

Hi Everyone!! I go away for four days and come back to 11 new pages to read!! I will be busy tonight! I haven't read about the baltimore meet, but hope everyone had a great time.

Mary Jo.......No ties at the Disney Catalog Outlet:(
I didn't buy much either. A set of insulated tumblers, hawaiian Mickey style that is it!

We are almost to our 60 day mark!!!

Well, better go unpack!

Hope

Scootersmom...what flight are you connecting on in Pittsburgh on the Thursday night? We are on an 8:40 p.m. flight that leaves Pittsburgh and arrives in Orlando at 10:47 p.m. Too funny if we were on the same flight...I knew you said that you thought you connected in Pittsburgh!! What are you doing on Friday...we want to do one of the parks...haven't decided which one yet but I'm pretty sure it won't be MGM since we will want to make sure we do Fantasmic and if we stay and do that, we won't be able to join the party at the Radisson.

Mary Jo,

It is certainly a small world! 6 of the 8 in our group will be on the same flight as you! So Nate, Jean, Missy, Tammy, Chuck and Dean are all with you! How exciting is that!

Dan

Glad everyone had a great meet!

I paid off our cruise yesterday, so we are a go (we always were!)

The question of the day is...............

WHO WILL GET POST 5000??????????????

I also do counted cross stitch when I have time.

What types of patterns do you have? I would love to get some new ones.

I am so excited about going on this cruise. It's going to be so much fun traveling with friends and also so many DISers. I can't believe we are just about 60 days away now!!! I'll be doing a quick 3 day in September before this so I'll really be ready for this one!!!

Looks like a lot of us are going to be shooting for Flounders for Brunch. Worst case scenario we can get all of the kids together in my room and my daughter can babysit them all :teeth: You think she will like me offering that for her?

I'm getting so excited about the trip. Can't wait!

Sue Ellen

Tulirose, payment for brunch happens this way. The host of each table reserves the table using the names and room numbers on the card I give them. This way no one gets stuck with a no show fee for someone else.
Silentshot, please go back and view my post on page 322. It should answer your questions re: Brunch. Sorry, I just don't have it in me to type the whole thing again. (It's been a real Monday) I hope you and Gaby will join us! If you have any more questions please send me a PM or e-mail.
piglet33, I'm putting you down for the Palos Brunch. So glad to have you join us. If you have Any questions please let me know.
All Brunchers: No one is comitted to Brunch until I leave my house on Friday morning Oct 10th. Even then, if we sign you up and you change your mind, you can always cancel Sunday morning.
Sarahsmom, Yes I know we'll be neighbors. Hope my snoring won't keep you awake. :p :jester:
Glad everyone made it home safe and sound from the meet in Maryland. Got to run the is this mountain thingy on my living room sofa that looks like clean clothes. I's been there for 2 days and it just keeps getting BIGGER.
Later, Ave'

Peter, I can't believe you had row 16 to see Bruce! The E-Street Band and the Boss put on a pretty good show! Ave

Dan...that is so neat...I will recognize your mom and sister from their pictures...I promise to behave on the plane!!! As Sarah will tell you, she always keeps a book handy in case I embarrass her and she has to put it in front of her face!!

SueEllen...how old is your daughter and is she corresponding with the other kids her age?? Sarah has been emailing her new friends from Minnesota and she is looking forward to her cruise!!

Just wondering what cabin our new cousin is in Mike?? Great picture....just what was Andy doing to Tina???

TwinAve...Tina was nice enough to get the cake for us at her local Giant,,it was delicious...Thanks Tina!!

Cathy...tell Art there are triple coupons again this week at Giant so no one will see much of me!! To those not in on the joke, our local Giant market offers triple coupons about twice a month..they will triple up to a $1.00 coupon so you guessed it, an item for $3.07 costs you seven cents...around this family, I am known as the coupon queen and I work with my paperboy who always happens to throw a few extra circulars my way. I always manage to drag Sarah on one of my trips as she cringes--one time she got a $21.75 order for 75 cents!!! Mary Jo

I am hopeful of getting the #5000, but a thunder storm just blew in and I might need to turn off the computer:eek:

I'm getting dizzy with all these posts!

Mike, thanks for the picture, but it needs a caption! I recognise about half of the folks in it, but I need everyone's name!PLEASE??

We plan on being at the Radisson early afternoon. I am thinking of doing the DIS meet poolside from about 6pm to 9pm (sort of a "stop by" and say hello" sort of thing)
I plan on being poolside
(at the pool bar???

) for most of the afternoon. So if anyone is getting there early, come and find me! My kids are part fish (DH side of the family:) ) so they will be happy to swim until they can no longer hold their arms up!

We need an alternate site for the DIS meet if (God forbid!) the weather is bad:mad:

How about the Promenade Lounge???

Relling Twin...here goes...I will try to identify everyone left to right..sure hope I get everyone in the right order!!

Jim (with beard) is Fiona's other half (Fiona is cdnmickeylover, I think) with Fiona (from Canada) in front of Jim (with hat on)..behind Fiona is Sam (Sarah's Dad from PA) in turquoise shirt..next to them is George and Nancy (Windermere) from PA/soon to be MD...Tina (Hopkins) in the red shirt in front next to Andy (ARL01) in black from Long Island, NY..Arlene (ARL01) is behind Andy...Cousin Ernest is in the yellow shirt in front (he is our mystery cruiser)...next to Ernest is Rosemary and Rich (Tulirose and Tulirich) from Long Island, NY. GoofyNut's husband Art has a peach shirt on and a straw hat; GoofyNut..aka Cathy is next to Art (they are from PA)...Sarah's Mom from PA...Mary Jo is in the yellow sweater in front..Kathy (papa's other half) from Tennessee is in white and Sarah is next to her..padisneyfan..Norm and Nancy are next and to complete the picture is Bill (Hopkin's other half)..Hope I didn't miss anyone or mess up names or locations!!! Mary Jo

Thanks Mary Jo! What a GREAT picture!!!I am guessing Mike took the picture?

I was just on the phone with Ave. We both agree this is going to be the MOST FUN DIS gang in the History of DIS! All the pre-cruise meets, all the posts, all the planning!!!!It is truly unbeliveable!I'm already beside myself with excitement and we still have 68 days to go! I'm going to be booking a 10/2/04 cruise while on board, but I can't imagine it EVER being better then this cruise!

Sarah'smom: Thanks for the clarification on the picture from MD. Gosh, Rellingtttwin and I were on the phone trying to figure it out. We did pretty good too.:D
Later, Ave'

Mary Jo--- I think you have everyone listed correctly. We are planning to still do the Avis car rental. In fact, I think it will be better since they are not at the Radisson. It was always a problem coming back with people who wanted to get on the Avis shuttle who were not getting a car. They just wanted a ride back to the Radisson. I did read on the boards that they will shuttle you back from Avis to Radisson if you are dropping your car off on Friday. However, then you are stuck using the Radisson shuttle which at times seems very disorganized. I have seen people nearly get in a fist fight over who goes on the shuttle next.

It was so great to meet old and new friends. Both Norm and I really enjoyed meeting everyone in Baltimore. It was a fun day. Glad everyone made it home safe. I think Norm and I will be going back down the weekend of the 16th as the boys want to go to Philips before they go back to college.

Fionna—Glad you were able to enjoy some sightseeing after you had such a long drive down. I love both Baltimore and Gettysburg and both are only an hour drive for us. We used to camp a lot in Gettysburg and my boys always loved climbing all the big rocks that are all over Gettysburg area. We used to ride our bikes all around the battlefield.

Rosemary--- I see that Richie got his motorcycle. I understand where you are coming from about worrying about him. It’s like when they first start driving.

I ordered my MNSSHP tickets today. I can cross another thing off my list. I have the check written for the Scavenger hunt ready to mail out tomorrow. Next Capt. Marvin.

Nancy

Papa and kathy called us tonight, however I was at work and didn't get to talk to them! What a bummer!

Tulirose-I looked at the cell phone list and was going to call you. However guess what, you don't have yours listed!

I am so jealous of everyone that got to meet this past weekend!

Dan

So if I am not mistaken, was the nametags unveiled at the meet? Do we get to see them at all? I am sure they are great, Cathy is such a crafty person!

Cathy-I can't wait to see you and Art again. I am ready to party!

Dan
