Eric....the cute little Yorkie in Hopkins picture is "HOPKINS!!!" He looks to be about as spoiled as my baby (who is going on 7!!)...Precious....I always tell Sarah to be gentle with Precious because she is just a baby and her reply is that the dog is older (in dog years) than her!!!

That's my little "Hopkins" in our picture and dear hubby Bill. He's our everything since we don't have kids.

Thanks, Eric!
Tina :)

What a wonderful web site!! It is so nice to put faces with names!! In only 79 days I will be able to put voices with the faces that go with the names!!

Hope everyone had a great hump day!! The weekend is almost here!

Hi Everyone,
As far as the ScavengEar Hunt goes, Rellingtwin and I have divided our families, girls against the guys. Mark, George, George Jr. and Casey in on one team, Mary, me, Mary Jr. and Regina on the other team. Sorry to say, the rest of you don't stand a chance. The Pinky STAYS in FL where she belongs!!:D :jester:
Eric, trying to picture Nancy with a letter between her teeth, swimming the Atlantic. She could do it! You Go Girl!!
What a great time we are going to have. I can't wait.
Sooner than Later, Ave'

Rosemary -

When I called for reservatiions she told me 'Business casual, no jeans or tennis shoes but shorts are allowed'

I'll have to remember to ask the DH. We got one double for the whole day instead of 2 singles becuase it was cheaper and he didn't have 2 singles at that location. We didn't feel like going to his other location.

Hopkins certainly is a very cute little Yorkie. Nice to see ya, Tina! Thanks again for all the hard work, Eric.

Eric - Nancy was referring to there not being enough time to get a picture in before the BALTIMORE meet. Not the Disney Cruise Meet. However, according to Eric, Nancy, if you put a photo in the mail tomorrow, he will get it in plenty of time to post prior to Baltimore!

Arlene and Andy - How about a picture of you guys too? :D

I checked the luncheon cruise website again and I think I know where Windy was coming from. It says something about what to wear and it did say no t-shirts, sneakers, etc., but that was for the dinner cruise. Is that what happened Windy? You read it too fast? I do things like that all the time.

Shari -

They were showing a house for sale. It was awfully white inside. And there was a 30-40 something couple looking to buy. I'll have to check the travel channel website to see if it will be on again.

Nancy

Wow, Rellingtwin!! That is awesome!!! It is great to see the diversity in our group, and I just can't wait to meet everyone face to face. I feel that I already know you guys so well!!

Jeff -

I'm with you. I will never remember that keyboard combo. Especially since I rarely use umlats in my day to day travels on the web. i may need to jot it down for future reference though.

Thanks Eric.

Nancy

Where did all these postings come from? They weren't here when I started my last post! LOL! That's what happens when one is doing five other things at the same time as posting!

So, Windy you called harbor cruises and that is what they told you? Wow! Well, if we wear a t-shirt, they will still let us on the boat, don't ya think..... but then they will make us walk the plank after lunch! LOL

Those are interesting facts Mary. Thanks for posting them. I was at first surprised by the number of NY families coming but then quickly remembered that there are two from the town I grew up in who are going but they never post. See, ya don't post and we forget about ya.

Taswira - I checked out your link to that expensive home. Wow is all I can say.... well, that's not really true... I can say that real people don't live in homes like that. Did you see that kitchen??? And then they admit, it is just a showcase kitchen for guests, and there is a hidden "butler's" kitchen where all the real preparation is done. Unbelievable.

Oh to be rich.....

Hey guys!! I forgot to post after getting back from WDW on Sunday night. We had a great time at the Beach Club Villas. No wonder so many people like that area, it's in the middle of everything. Anyway, we went to the Cape May Cafe Clambake on Friday night, then went for a walk around the area and started to head over to Epcot, but the sky looked a little ominous, so we headed back to the room.

On Saturday, we got up early and headed to the pool. Emily LOVED the pool area with all of the sand. She just kept filling up her bucket and dumping it out. Then, she spent about 20 minutes chasing a couple of ducks and a squirrel around the deck area. After that, we headed over to Beaches & Cream for lunch and then went back to the room to get clean.

Then, to kill some time and get Emily to sleep, we hopped into the car and drove around the Orlando area. Chris is on a mission. Hooters (the "spicy" chicken wing chain) is having a 20th anniversary thing where you get a "passport" and if you can get stamps from 20 different Hooters around the country, then you get 200 chicken wings for free. Well, he got 2 passports (1 for him and 1 for me) and we visited 8 Hooters restaurants in the Orlando area while Emily was asleep in her carseat. Now, he wants to do the same thing in the Tampa area and he'll be all done. He's just crazy!!!

Then, on Sunday morning we headed back to Cape May Cafe for breakfast with Goofy (which Emily calls "Googy") and then off to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours. Then, we met up with Scootersmom and her son Josh at their hotel. Boy, I'm so glad that we got to meet them. They are just great!! And, bless her heart, Colleen (Scootersmom) brought Emily a little Mickey counting book. She is just too sweet. We took a picture, so I ought to send it to Eric. Chris even has purple hair with pixie dust, since he got his haircut at the Main St. Barber shop.

Well, I guess that's long enough!! Take care and good night.

Rosemary -

I didn't go to the website. I made the reservations over the phone. When she was telling me all the info - which boat, what time, how to get there - she also said 'business casual'. Shorts and a polo would be fine with me. I was just wondering if anyone else had gotten this info since no one said anything about it here.

BTW - I haven't gotten any thread notices in about a week. So you're not alone.

Sounds like it was a great weekend alikat. Glad you had such a good time and you were able to meet up with Scootersmom and family.

Hey papa - I'm not talking to myself tonight! :D

I would be interested in buying the house but the tennis court is WAY to far away from the pool. Maybe the next house for sale will be a perfect fit :jester:

Boo hoo!!! :( :( :(

I just realized that I won't be able to make it to International Cruise Chat on the 23rd. We have a wedding in Orlando at 11am. Bummer!!!

I'll be working on the 23rd so I will miss it also. Well at least I've been making up for it here over the last few days.

Can you tell I am not in the mood to do some mandatory reading for work?

Don't worry!! I can't blame you, I wouldn't be in the mood either. I just finished scrubbing the entry way and kitchen floors and my arms are just tired. I was going to go to bed, but Chris is in there snoring (he only got 3 hours of sleep last night). So, I'm avoiding it for a little while.
