Hi Gang,

I have been away from the computer since Friday so just now catching up with all the posts.

Ave--- I haven't read "Up County" yet. They recently opened a used paperback book store near me, so took all my old books there and have alot of credit. So am back tracking on some of the books by those authors. I haven't read all the Alex Cross series so am going backwards with them. I have enough reading material for the rest of the summer. Except need to buy "To the Nine's" the new Stephanie Plum book when it comes out 7/17. Right before the cruise I will go back and restock at the used book store. One of my favoirtie thing to do on the cruise is sit on the balconey and read.

Fionna--- Glad your son is doing well.

Eric--- The homepage looks really nice. Don't have a digital camera so no picture from us. Maybe I can get someone to scan one. Or maybe someone will take pity on us and take our picture on our 2 hour cruise and send it.

Cathy-- What day was the weather bad in your area? The past 3 days here have been great. Sunny and warm, but no humidity. Which it could stay that way all the time.

Tina ... It's OFFICIAL, we paid for our "2 Hour Cruise". Now I'm plotting to go down Friday after work and meet up with Mike & Kathy and satay over Saturday night and head home Sunday.

I think we need to start an organization called "It's a DIS thing, You wouldn't Understand!" When I talk about this to other people they can't get how we can do this. I just tell them stop whinning and join in.

I'll be using Eric's LIST and starting the name tags for everyone. Please let me know if you DON'T WANT A NAME TAG. Last year I never found some of our group and did a walk around delivering the tags to the rooms and started to feel like I was imposing. Also let me know if name spelling needs a fix.

I'll be wearing a "pre-view" on the 2 Hour Cruise, for those going to the Baltimore Meet.

You can send one by snail mail and I scan it for you. Just inform me if you want to do it and I'll send you my home adress.

Nice weekend for me. Got invited to my new boss' house for a birthday party for two of her kids. DH was not able to make it since he had to work. I was a little worried about not knowing anyone there, and the fact that these were all going to be a group of people a little out of my league, if you know what I mean. But I went, armed with a tray of my famous stuffed mushrooms. And we had a wonderful time.
Mary, I'm so sorry that you can't do the thing.

Unfortunately, Eric, I do remember what it was like getting closer to 40 and sad to say, I did go off the deep end for approximately six months prior to my birthday. However, when the big day finally arrived, it was the greatest day and I had no problems with it since then.

Now as the next milestone approaches, I tend to get a bit depressed when thinking about it.....

Rich on the other hand, nothing fazes him. His favorite saying about getting older is: "It's better than the alternative!"

Wow, it makes me want to live near Baltimore. I would really love to meet all of you guys prior to the cruise. But alas, Baltimore is a little too much of a drive from St. Pete. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until October.

Oh hey, we're heading to WDW on Friday for my birthday weekend. I'm turning 34 this year. I was at church today and two teenagers were talking about someone that they knew that was turning 35 and they were talking about how old they were. Well, in my defense, I emphatically mentioned that 35 is NOT old. But, I don't think it meant a thing to these teenagers. Oh boy!!!

Anyway, if anyone wants anything, pins, etc, let me know by Friday, and I'll be glad to pick it up for you. We'll be staying at the beach club villas for the first time. I can't wait to play in Stormalong Bay with Emily. I'm sure that she's going to love it!! We have a hard time keeping her out of the pool here at home.

Just wanted to pop in and say "hi"--the vacation was great and now I can't wait to get my Visa bill!! Our Tennessee dis meet was great and got to meet papa (aka Mike) and Kathy and the rest of their family..such nice people..can't wait to see them again!! Kiss Katie for us and a big hi to Stacey..when I get the catfish pictures of Sarah and I, I will bring you copies for her....BTW, Mike, I couldn't help but ride the catfish at the Partheon....what an awesome building and when you go inside, WOW!!! Left Tennessee via Nashville International Airport at 10:00 this am and got home to PA around 5:00 p.m. Left Nashville Mike without so much as a ticket!!! Also did the Tennessee aquarium and Memphis..yes, we did see Elvis outside of Graceland (I am not kidding!!) but I lost my Minnie sunglasses while waiting for the duck parade at the Peabody (twice a day, five ducks arrive at the fountain and at 5:00 p.m., they leave to go up to the penthouse via the elevator...what an event in Memphis...and I thought that we needed to get a life!! Tina...Hopkins....I will call tomorrow about the harbor cruise..as long as I can get a kennel, all three of us will be going! I will let you know definitely on Monday when I've bought the tickets but as of right now, it looks like the three of us will be there. Mary Jo

Tina...Hopkins...do you know how I could find out the information on Ride the Ducks in Baltimore...are they close to the inner harbor...we did this in Branson and had a ball...they ride you around the town and then go into the lake and then come out again. Also, since no kids are going, does anyone object to Sarah coming along....she is 13 but a very mature 13 (Cathy with a C and Mike will attest to this, I hope!!!) Mary Jo
