Hey everyone! I'm so glad it's the weekend. I really need it. And, the bonus is that next week is a short week with the 4th of July.

We're going to go to Sears tomorrow to get a new family picture. Emily has changed so much since last December, we decided to go ahead and do it. Plus, we got a great deal on portrait sheets (only 3.99/sheet).

Ave - I'm so glad to hear that you liked Finding Nemo. We've been contemplating taking Emily. I know that she's not even 2 yet, and we'll probably have to leave before it's over, but every time the ads for it come on TV, all she can say is "fishy, fishy". Ever since we took her to the Dig at Atlantis, when we were in the Bahamas in May, she has just LOVED fish.

Colleen - I can't wait to meet you in Orlando. I'm sure that we'll be there at least through the late afternoon, so I hope we can hook up. I felt so bad that I didn't get connected with Dan when he was down.

Sorry Windermere....I seem to have alot of senior moments lately...am leaving for vacation in 30 minutes because we fly out of Allentown, PA and that is an hour drive for us...flight leaves at 12:20 so we will head to Allentown and have breakfast and get to the airport and start to relax!! Talk to everyone when we get back on July 14th!!

GoofyNut...saw the fireworks last night and they looked really nice..hope you enjoyed the game...was traffic bad because there was a concert on the mountain?? You'll have to keep up with the boards so you can give me a low down when I get back!! Bye!!

Well he's off. Just back from dropping Chris off at the base here in Toronto. There were 2 buses there to take them up north. He was saying in the car ride over that he was nervous but then we arrived and he got out, got his stuff and that was it. He didn't want me to hang around. He's one of the youngest and I don't think he wanted to appear to be one of the youngest having his mother hanging around.

He says he may get a weekend off so we'll see what happens. Hopefully it will go ok and he'll have fun.

Tired though and am now going back to bed. He was up at 5:30am and so was I.

Christy and I are both looking foreward to getting together with the "Minnesota contingency". We should try to lock in on a date that works for all. At this time, our calendars are clean the 11th and 18th of July (both Fridays) and the 8th and 15th of August. We will be more than happy to host the gathering or we can meet anywhere, were flexible.

Nancy, Both DH and DS are on Lakeville traveling soccer teams (I think they both compete against Dakota Rev and play in their tournament)

My 17's Volleyball team is competing in the National JO Championships in Atlanta starting Sunday. Our goal is to finish in the top quarter (we are a good team, but this tournament if packed with the best of the best from all over the country). I'm leaving this morning and will try to get back to both of you when I return on Thursday 7/3.

Ohio Cruisers!!! and anyone else close enough to do this....

I just made hotel reservations for our family in Columbus, checking in on Friday August 15th and checking out on the 17th. We'll be getting in early Friday evening (about 8ish), spending Saturday at the state fair and Sunday at the Columbus zoo, leaving for home mid-afternoon sometime.

If anyone's interested in meeting during that time, just let us know and we can set something up.

Bette, I would love to come to Beantown and see the Boss, thanks for the invite. But with the new job I can't really take any time off. When I accepted my new job I let my new doctor (boss) know I had a cruise planned for Oct. Since she was on the Sept 28th 2002 cruise with us, we was very cool about my plans. But you got me thinking, now I have to go check out the Springsteen website, LOL.

Weather has been absolutely gorgeous here lately. Okay, a little hot but I like it hot. Gonna try and catch up with the thread a bit.

Would Baltimore be too far for you to drive? Sue Ellen is driving from Richmond and that's 3-4 hrs to Baltimrore. How far is Long Island to Baltimore? Just trying to accomadating everyone, even though it looks like Baltimore is 30 minutes away for us ( just worked out that way).

Hi Everyone:

Andy and I are just back from our yearly visit to see my inlaws in florida. Cant say it was exciting but it was nice to see them...

We would like to meet up with everyone in august but not sure if we can since that is Andys birthday weekend. We both try to extend our birthdays as much as we can. Just a thing between us. I will definetely talk to him about it though. I think that he wants to have a karaoke/birthday party that weekend but maybe we can do it the next weekend. We werent able to do it last year because it was either too hot or it rained. We'll see though.
