Oh, yeah--forgot to give the number. I called Travelocity at 1-800-222-3690.

Avé--- Thanks for checking on that. I thought you had Mandy down for brunch, but wasn't positive.

Amy--- We land at MCO at 11:17 a.m. on the 20th and have transfers from the airport to Dixie Landings (Riverside).....provided that everything is running on time, of course. What time are you checking out and heading for home?

Colleen

stephmarty--- Good deal on the Travelocity switch! I don't think we can do that since we booked through DVC and used points for all except the child's fare for Josh.

Colleen

Sarah finished the Harry Potter book yesterday...yes, I was one of the good moms who drove her to the store at 12:00 midnight so she could get her copy..seems that Sam misses out on all of our crazy antics because he is working...hmmm..maybe he plans it that way!! Gorgeous and sunny today...we had almost forgotten what the sun looked like!! Anyway, we are supposed to get rain on Saturday again..we are starting our two week vacation on Saturday so who cares!!!

Got an email from Disney Store. There is an email sale going on right now. Promotion code EXCLUSIVE20 You get 20% off around 100 items already on sale. I bought a ton and thought someone else might want the code.

Happy shopping.

Hope

Wish we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for customs otherwise I'd order from the Disney store -- they have so much stuff that we can't get at the Disney store here in Canada. I think that's why I drag Jim around World of Disney for an entire afternoon -- always the highlight of the trip for him as he asks how many more stores are there????

Tired this morning -- forgot in my celebration Friday morning that it was the last morning I had to get DS up for school that what this means is that he'll be up all night. Since he was away for the weekend and really tired Sunday night this didn't happen til last night. I had teenagers up and down the stairs -- to the kitchen of course, opening and closing the front door -- wanting for the pizza delivery guy and generally walking around til 4am. :(

They do try to be quiet but big feet just sound like elephants in the middle of the night. They once had the pizza delivery person ring the bell. They don't do that again as I was up and downstairs thinking it was something awful happening.

DS did apologize at 4am though and they were trying to be quiet. I just have to get used to it for a week til he leaves and then get used to it again when he's home again in August.

Anyone else's teenagers up all night and sleep all day during the summer? Amazing how they do it.

Trying to stay awake for the Jays game tonight. :p

Hi Stephmarty,

got your info :bounce: Now you're an official member of the gang ;) I'll do an update as soon as I'm back in Germany, which is the IndepenenceDay-weekend. Sorry about the delay, but work comes first.

I've been to the DisneyStore at ParkMeadowsMall (A wonderful mall !!!!!) and bought a cute Pooh wearing a knitted pullover sporting Red-White'n'Blue and an American Flag for Anja (And he keeps me company in the hotel ;) They had a large sale going on and nearly everything was down 50%.
I also bought some nice Native American jewellery for Anja in a special shop at Estes Park.
The new camera works fine and the CD-bnurner has been working overtime :p I already got a CD filled and expect to do another 1 or 2.
Yesterday we went to a Factory Outlet and boosted the American Economy big time ;)

Take care

Eric

Stephmarty: Thanks for the info. I will denfinitly check it out. But I did get a stateroom credit for booking while I was aboard last Sept. Maybe I can get more!:D Last year DH spent almost $100 in the arcade with the kids.
Sarah'smom: I got the Harry Potter book today for Mary. I told her I would go anywhere in Bay county to buy it, but she had to find it. Well she found it at Sam's. I'm not a current member.:(
But found a friend that agreed to go there today and buy it for me. Or should I say buy it for DD.
Got to run, time to clip the dog.

Colleen -

We don't have any specific plans on when we'll be leaving WDW to head home. Usually we end up heading out in the early evening, after we have some dinner, so maybe it'll work out. We'll be checked out of the Beach Club, by the time that you make it in, but I'll PM you Chris's cell phone. He always carries his with him, I tend to keep mine in the diaper bag, so I don't usually hear it.

Eric glad that the new camera and cd burner are working fine for you. I am considering going over to the dark side (apple) for my next computer. This is due to Kathy's nurses for newborn job as all of their computers are mac's. I would use it to do her paperwork and cut down on paper usage here and at her work also.

Ave congratulations on finding the harry potter book. They have them just laying on a table display at the local Kroger store.

Mary Jo are we on for breakfast on the 7th at Cracker Barrel??

Cathy I walked a mile(1.609km for our metric friends)tonight. Had to watch out for the duck and goose poop though. Mike

We're having a heat wave!!!!

The sun was out yesterday and again today and today it hit 90. We had like a 32 degree change in temperature!

Thursday Richie is going to his girlfriend's prom and it is suppose to remain hot.

The rain is scheduled to return by Saturday, just in time for the weekend. :(

If it rains, at least you won't have to mow the lawn Rosemary:teeth: Mike

We have a heat wave too!! And a humidex warning. It's supposed to feel like the low 40'sC this afternoon. I'll be stuck inside an a/c office building but at least it will be sunny out.

Lawn mowing? Our lawn is growing but no mowing happening. It's DS's job and so far it hasn't happened. :( I'm going to remind him today that he has to do it. If it's not done by Saturday Jim or I will have to do it because it's so long now but will not be happy.

Fiona

Fiona,

I know exactly what you are going through with your teenage son. Since both sons are home from college for the summer, I have it double time at my house. If they aren't working, they sleep till late afternoon and then go to bed around 3am. I never know what stray child I will finding sleeping on my sofa on the weekends.

As for the grass, it looks like a field. DS#2 was going to mow it yesterday since he didn't have to work, but that didn't happen. I guess sleep got in the way since I got home at 4pm and he was just getting out of bed. Both of them are working the rest of the week, so I guess Norm and I will be mowing. Our neighbor is away and we have to do theirs also.

I have had to put a VCR in the bedroom to do my Walk Away the Pounds videos, since I was doing my exercising in the living room but DS#1 bedroom is right below and my excercising at 6am was disturbing his sleep.

DS#1 has now told me he is getting another tattoo before he goes back to college. He is saving all his tip money to get something on his back. I guess since he dumped the girlfriend he now has extra money. He already has long hair, goatee, piercing, and a tattoo all he needs is a Harley.

DS#2 is just the opposite. He has really curly hair and only wears designer clothing (thank heavens for outlet stores). He is so tight with his money, that he wouldn't waste it on a tattoo.

The teenage years are just another one of life's challenges that give us grey hairs.

Later,
Nancy

papa...yes we can meet with you on the 7th for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel...just not too awfully early...remember, we're on vacation!!! I will call you on the evening of the 6th when we get in!! Mary Jo

You should see how fast grass grows down here in florida, especially with a week of rain and no mowing. I seriously cut the grass on saturday and again yesterday, both times taking at least 3 1/2 inches off the top of the lawn.

Luckily our grass doesn't grow that fast Jeff otherwise at this point you wouldn't be able to see the house!!

He has no tatoos, no earings or other piercings. He shaves his head every once in a while so his hair is never very long although he did go through a long hair stage. He plays basketball though so I think the long hair just got too hot. :D

He's not bad just sometimes lazy in terms of chores.

Nancy -- I can so relate to getting home and he's just getting up. This morning he was up early 7:30am and I had to ask if he'd even been to bed! He had and had to go into the school for the final day -- they get to see their exams and final marks etc. before the report cards go out. It has happened that when I've gotten up in the morning he and his friends are just going to bed. And I never know who's been sleeping over til morning and I can check the shoes in the front hall. I've become an expert at identifying his friends through their shoes!! Oh well he turns 17 in a couple of weeks and I figure the teenage years will be over in another 3 years -- hopefully I won't be completely grey by then!!

I'm also curious to see what changes there will be after he comes home from basic training. His best friend predicts that he will keep his room clean and will get up early every morning. We'll see though.

Take care everyone -- it's hot, hot, hot here today.

Fiona

Hot here today also Fiona, but the humidity is the killer.

Termite man just left and our house passed the annual inspection. No wood eating pests.

Kathy has to work tonight and then we have 2 visits with clients in the morning and one tomorrow afternoon. We are keeping the grand-baby overnight Friday. We will be one worn out couple come Saturday. Katie has learned how to remove her diaper;) Her mother found out the hard way when she rolled over and Katie had moistened the sheet:o

Mike

Yes Papa, the humidity is awful. Girls went outside to jump on the trampoline.........they didn't even make it onto it........they came back in and said they couldn't breathe out there it was so hot. 92 here today. :(

I would like to know if anyone else has a pile of things for the cruise already or am I the only one? My DH thinks I am crazy.

Hope
