CRT, what time to give up?

I'm trying for CRT all this week. I have to leave the house by 7:30 to get my daughter to school. Do you think if I'm still on hold by this time my chances would be gone for a ressie there anyway? Or should I have hubby try then at that point?

More than likely if you don't have the reservation confirmed by 7:10 you will not get it for your target date. Of course, you can always try later in the day for other dates and might find a cancellation.

As stated above, by 7:30 its too late. Don't have DH take over at 7:30, you need him on another phone at 6:58. I think we had 4 phones going when we got it. If you are 90 days out then you are trying for a very busy time. Enlist as many friends and relatives as you can to call at the same time if you have your heart set on CRT.

This may sound crazy but I usually dial on 2 phones at once - my cell and our home phone. I've ALWAYS gotten through with my cell first. If you have a cell you may want to try - use the 800 number. Good luck!!! CRT IS MAGICAL!

Don't forget you can always try while you are down there! Just phone from the room at 7:00 a.m.!
