CRT - Tables in Wonderland discount

I was just able to book a CRT ADR for April with no problem...that was almost TOO easy. As per usual, they made me pay in advance to hold the ADR. The CM could not answer this question, so I thought I would ask the DIS experts.

I will be getting the Tables in Wonderland card and I see that CRT is one of the places that accept it for the 20% discount. How does this work if I have paid in advance? Do I get credit back?

We just did this. Just tell your server you have the card and she will refund you the discount on a gift card. Note that the discount is only on the food portion not the photos. So for us two adults at breakfast it was about $10.00

I received a Disney gift card with the credit on it. Also, let the server know when you sit down that you will be using the Tables in Wonderland card and need to receive the credit; because you've already prepaid, they don't give you a check, so it takes a little time to get the credit.
