CRT on DDP and credit card guarantee

I'm currently on the fence about keeping the DDP vs changing to QSDP and/or paying OOP.

What happens if I book breakfast at CRT, which'll put a hold on my credit card, but then decide to remove the DDP after booking?

Should I just *try* to make my decision before my 180 days are up? Would cancelling the DDP be problematic and would I have to try to rebook CRT breakfast (which I'm hoping for for my DD's B'day) Or would it just be as simple as them charging my credit card if and when I'd cancel the DDP?

I'm fairly certain about some of the meals I want - especially a meal at CRT, but just cannot make my mind up about the DDP

I don't believe they would charge your card unless you didn't show up. However, when you show up for your reservation you just tell them you are going to pay for it.

Your ADRs are not tied to any dining plan. The dining plan is your way of paying when you get there, so you can decide later to keep it or pay OOP.

had a table near us (they are all very close), that didn't have enough dining credits left and paid with a credit card. It's possible to chnage your mind at the last minute.

Thanks for the replies :) I know they charge you at booking if you're not on the DDP, but whether I keep the DDP or not, I'm thinking of paying OOP for the meal regardless.

It's good to know that no matter what I change my mind to, I can pay there and they will always have my credit card guarantee in case I'd forget to show up or cancel (yeah, like that would happen!! ;)
