They are 9 and 5 yrs old. They like the princesses , I'm just wondering which meal they'd have more fun. Do they get a sword at either meal? You get the picture package at either meal as well right? Which one has better food? Thanks!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well as we are planning on taking our two boys aged 9 & 6 when at WDW in Feb 09.

The princesses will only be at lunch. Cinderella is downstairs for photos, and we saw Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and The Fairy Godmother during lunch (they came to each table). They also will receive a wishing star and participate in a "wishing ceremony". We had lunch there last year, and my son did receive a sword, while DD got a wand.
From what I've read, at dinner the Fairy Godmother and mice do a small "show" but don't come around to the tables. Cinderella will be downstairs, but no princesses visit tables. I don't know if the kids receive swords at dinner or not!

Who is there for breakfast? Do you get to meet the princesses or just cinderella downstairs?

I went to CRT for dinner, the fairy godmother and mice do come around for a quick picture in between the dancing. it's not like a visit though, but if you have a camera ready as they approach your table then they'll stop and take a picture with you. they don't sign anything but you get a little postcard with their "autographs" along with your picture package. and you get the swords at dinner too. i wish i knew the princesses would be at lunch when i went, i would have done lunch instead. as for food, i would look at the menu to see which one sounds better to you
