Hello! I know there is information on these boards about making reservations at CRT, but I've never needed it until now--and I can't find anything!

We'll be heading back to WDW next March and we would like to get an early morning ressie at the Castle. (Early is best, right?) We'll be staying at Pop and have family members staying off site. My questions....

*When can I make the reservation?
* I believe since we are staying on-site that we can make ressies before guests staying off-site...When I make our ressie, can I include the in-laws who are staying off-site? (under my name; it would be a group of 4-us and 5-them. we could eat together or at seperate tables)
*I know these are hard to get and there is a "method" to getting through...anyone care to share the secret?
*If we are staying at Pop! and the ressie is early in the morning, do buses run that early? If not, do we take a cab?

Thanks so much for any help you can give. I've read all about this subject for years, but this is the first time DD has shown interest in "eating in the castle"--and she'll be 15! :goodvibes

Anyone can make their ADRs 180 days in advance.

Not before anyone else, but... since you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can call 180 days in advance of your check-in date and make ADRs for up to 10 days of vacation.
People staying off-site must call 180 days in advance of the date of each meal.

You can make the ADR for all 9 of you, as long as it is one ADR under your name (or someone staying on-site). Make only one ADR. Do not try to make 2 separate ones- or they will need the resort ressie # for the other group.
They may tell you that you will be seated at 2 tables. That's OK. When you arrive, they will try to get you all together if at all possible.

To be honest, they are not as hard as they used to be. Still a hot ticket, but a little easier.
My suggestion is to call at 7:00 am (and not a moment later) on the 180th day before you check in. Ask for CRT first and be flexible enough to take whatever day is available during your stay.
To find out what day is 180 days for you- click here and enter your check-in date.

Buses for early morning character breakfasts start about 7:00am. First seatings are around 8:00 am. You should be fine with the bus.
Taking a cab is an option as well.
We always use Disney transportation.

Enjoy! :thumbsup2

I have to agree with the previous poster. Since CRT has raised their prices so much and went to 2 Table Service Credits on the Dining plan, it's just not has hard to get into as it used to be. But, I would also say that you should call at your 180 day out mark so you can get the time you want.

You should call exactly 180 days out at 7:00 am EST. I think the busses start running a couple of hours before the park opens, but you should check with your resort when you check in to be sure.

Thanks everyone for the great information! :thumbsup2

What are the current prices? My old info says $20/adults...sounds like it's a bit more now...

Also, what "characters" currently visit the castle for breakfast?

Thanks, again!

It's $32.99 per adult and $22.99 per child for breakfast at CRT.

If you are there during March mid March through the end of March, you will be under Holiday pricing (spring break) and it will be $36.99 per adult and $24.99 per child.

If you are not on the dining plan you will have to pay tax and tip. If you are on the dining plan, then you wil just have to pay for the tip.

Which will be added into your total when you make your ressies. CRT has to be paid when the ADRs are made if you are not on the DP.

Hi-I'm a newby but I swear I read in a post somewhere that the tip was included for CRT if you are on the DDP? I remember thinking this made it a little better deal for using 2 whole dining credits.

Hmmm... we'll be there the week of the 23rd and WON"T be on the dining plan...just don't eat that much. Thanks for the info!! Better budget a bit more.;)
