Hi everyone. DD(4) is finally old enough to go to CRT & really enjoy it...DS(8) is not so thrilled about this situation:rotfl2: We're trying to decide if we should get an ADR for breakfast or lunch, but since we've never been it's hard to decide. Is one meal that much better than the other in terms of the overall experience, not just the food. We're not really interested in dinner; I don't think she would be able to wait that long to meet Cinderella...she's not the most patient 4 year old in the world;)

Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated:thumbsup2

Thanks-
Kristin

We've never been there, but are taking DD in September to celebrate her 4th birthday. Our BBB reservation is at 8AM, so I decided lunch would be best. This is partly because I want us to make rope drop for her to ride some rides like Dumbo before the lines get long and also because I think it would be a great afternoon break. Our reservation is at 1:10 but I'm hoping to move it to 11:45AM.

We were there a week ago for the first time and my DD 4 yrs old LOVED it! we did BBB at 8:15am and after went for breakfast there, it was wonderful :goodvibes she is going to love it!:thumbsup2

Are you paying OOP or using the DDP? If cost is an issue, breakfast is a little cheaper. If you are using DDP, then lunch or dinner would be a better value.

That said, we had lunch there and enjoyed it. The breakfast menu didn't really appeal to us. We prefer to spend our mornings touring, not at a restaurant. We just don't eat enough first thing in the morning.

DS11 was 8 when we went and was a bit reluctant. Well, didn't they fawn all over him calling him the young prince and treating him special. He would never admit it to his friends, but he thought eating in the castle was pretty darn cool. :thumbsup2

Breakfast is great; make your ADR before the park opens. That way, you get in early for a perfect picture in front of the castle. When you are finished with the meal, you walk right out into all of the action in Fantasy Land. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the quick responses!

We're not going to do BBB this trip; DD really likes to dress up, but does not like to have someone pulling on her hair so we're going to avoid that until she's older. We're usually quick eaters at breakfast, so maybe lunch is the best deal. I think DD will be over the moon to eat in the castle with Cinderella & DS will probably be trying really hard to look like he's not impressed with all the pretty girls. I can't wait until November!
