CRT for Breakfast AND Dinner...same day!

So we have early ADR breakfast at CRT at 8am and same day in the evening with MNSSHP as well at 7pm. I could not get anything else that was WOW for breakfast...hoped for BOG but to no avail. Has anyone else done this? Was it great both times or did it feel like too much of the same? I know the meals will be different and we will all be dressed up in our finest of Halloween attire for dinner. ;-) Just looking for some opinions and past exoerience if any.

How old are the members of your group? I can think of a lot of people who would hate this. We have done lunch and dinner at CRT in the same day and loved it. It felt like we owned the place. But we were in a big princess phase at the time.

We have DD who will be turning 10 that day, myself and dh, and my parents. I think it will be fun to revisit once we are in costume.

You are spending valuable party time at dinner. I would keep breakfast and spend the party time on the special activities. The parade is not to be missed. Watch it both times. It is the highlight of the party, imho

I am hoping to be able to get something earlier but if not, we still should be able to see the parade, fireworks, and villains...even with a longer dinner. But it would be nice to party starting at 7.

We love CRT. As I said we have done it more than once in one day. I would not do CRT at 7 PM during a party even if it was our only time dining there. Doing it during the party after doing breakfast the same day would be a fast and definite no from me. The meal is expensive enough on its own. The party is expensive enough on its own. Put them together and it's over the top expensive.

I agree with this. I would not do dinner at CRT on a party night. Well, maybe I would if my daughter was really in a princess phase AND I couldn't get a reservation there at any other time during our entire vacation. But you have a reservation there that morning. The castle will still be the same, the princess will likely be exactly the same ones, and the price will still be very high. Your party time is better spent at the party.

We haven't done CRT twice in the same day, but we once did CRT at breakfast and Akershus at dinner. Snow White recognized my DD! It was really cute. Still, even if a princess were guaranteed to recognize my daughter, I don't think I would want to spend party time in the same castle where I had breakfast.

I appreciate all the input. I originally had crt with mnsshp at 7:10pm. And I looked at the schedule of events for the party to make sure we would be able to catch everything.And we would but who knows for sure. But then came along a crt breakfast cancellation and with coordinated efforts I booked the breakfast too. I have been wondering if crt two times would be too much. We are on the dxdp so we have enough credits.

But I am having a really tough time finding a dinner reservation at mk for 4 or 5ish now that I have breakfast set. We would want something themed or just interesting atmosphere. Any suggestions? Would LOVE BOG...but well...we all know how hard that is to book! ;-)

Personally I would keep breakfast and dump dinner.
Plan a CS for dinner or go before 5pm to one of the resort TS restaurants so that you're back in MK before 7pm.
And CRT takes a looooong time to eat. First you line up to meet Cindy, then you go upstairs, order, meet the princesses, etc. It can easily take an hour and a half and more.
You will miss a lot of the party.

What about 1900 Park Fare? That has fabulous theming with the crazy step sisters and is just a monorail ride from MK.

Maybe not, those villain lines are really long, and people start lining up way before the party starts at 7pm.

CRT will be seating late for dinner as well, most likely.

QS is your best bet for a MNSSHP.

QS for sure during party - I have made this mistake before. 2 hours at CRT is not uncommon. Besides, I think the food is better at breakfast!

Is breakfast or dinner better at CRT? We have a breakfast scheduled & I'm second guessing myself!
