Hello...so we were originally not planning on doing CRT on our net trip, but my kids loved the fact that they got swords and got to eat in the castle, and my DS9 actually asked if we could do it again. We will also have my MIL with us and she hasn't been to Disney in probably over 20yrs so I want to show her the best of the best sort of speak and as far as I am concerned eating in the castle is just about as ionic as you can get at Disney. My question is this, my DS9 will be 10 on our trip...will he still get a sword? I don't want him to feel bad if his little brother gets a sword and he doesn't...that is just asking for trouble.
Also we will have the deluxe dining plan like we did in 2015, now when I booked in 2015 we just booked online and didn't have to worry about paying upfront for it. Lately though I have heard conflicting reports that people have been having to call Disney to book CRT if they have the dining plan so they don't get charged. Any truth to this fact?

But I would be shocked if Disney left out a 10 year old like that. It's still a kid. They are interested in making more money from 10 year olds by charging them adult prices but I can't believe they are also interested in stripping the magic from them... I think they know they are still kids even while they charge them $75 or whatever it is to eat at the castle.
