CRT dinner: Appetizer

DH and I are going to CRT for dinner. The ONLY one of the appetizers/starters DH might touch some of would be the Castle Salad (greens, cheese, walnuts) IF there is no dressing on the salad.

My question is: Is it possible to ask them to leave the dressing off?

What I have seen and read about CRT dinner is that everything is pretty much ready to go when you get there so I'm thinking the answer will be no, but I'm wondering what experiences others have had.

Either way we will go there. DH is prepared to just deal with whatever, but it seems a shame to not get the appetizer we paid for.

Not the exact situation or answer to your question, but I was at CRT for breakfast a few yrs ago and I asked the waitress about any dairy in the food. She wasn't sure and I said, "ok I guess I'll make do". Next thing I know it the CHEF comes to my table and says "is there someone here with a dairy allergy?" I was floored. He said "yes there is cheese made into the eggs, so I will make you some without it". I couldn't believe it! Technically I did not have a dairy allergy, my infant did, that I was exclusively breastfeeding, and I was going to question the food, but not make a big deal, I would have just not eaten the eggs. It was definitely a moment that I didn't pursue, but it was proof that I was at Disney, where they go the extra mile.

We are at CRT a few nights ago and I had the BLT salad and asked them to please bring it without the eggs - they were happy to do that and the salad was DIVINE!

I am sure that having the dressing left off or served on the side is not a problem. Just tell your server and I am sure you willbe fine

It is good to know they care about food allergies...we booked dinner there for our upcoming trip ... my husband has a horrible allergy to mushrooms and I was going to cancel cause I was worried about him with some of the food selections. I will make sure I mention his allergy to the waiter/waitress as soon as they come to our table
