CRT Dessert Question

Has anyone had lunch at CRT recently? They seemed to have changed the dessert menu since we ate there last summer. I am super picky and was curious about the selections and if they would accomendate if I can't find something I will like? My niece is getting the slipper dessert, I ordered that for her, does she get a menu selection too? (trust me she would take both) The 4 of us had the The Clock Strikes 12 I believe it was called last year. Thanks!

We had lunch there on Tuesday. Unfortunately, The Clock Strikes 12 is no longer on the dessert menu. To be honest, the desserts were the only thing we were disappointed with. We still had a fantastic meal though and really enjoyed it.

Ah that's a bummer. That was delicious last year! Was hoping to have that again. Guess I will have to ask about what each one is when I am there.

Gus and Jaq's Favorites
White Chocolate-Jasmine Tea Mousse, Lemon and Lime Curd with Honey-Oat Crisp

Those both sound delicious, minus I can't have hazelnuts...I may try the signature dessert and have them leave off the nuts.

Disappointed you weren't thrilled with either. I'm not a big chocolate fan but that Gus and Jaq's Favorites doesn't sound too appealing. If you gave the nod to one, which did you prefer?

I decided against ordering the slipper and crown for the kids, thinking they'd just eat one of our Clock Strikes Twelve, but maybe the special desserts would be a better bet now.

I definitely preferred the signature dessert (chocolate tart) since I love chocolate, but it was kind of dry. Now that I'm rereading the description, I don't remember any caramel or chocolate sauce so maybe it was left off & that's why it was dry?

Cali- They are $12.50 for the slipper and crown dessert. You have to call within 48 hours of the reservation and you pay after you are done eating.

1) The slipper dessert is an addition, not a substitute.
2) The person getting the slipper still gets dessert from the menu.
