CRT and DDP

Do you have to prepay if you are on DDP? What if I decide to pay OOP when we are there?

My understanding is you have to give a CC# to hold your spot but tell them you are on DDP.

You only give your CC # to hold the reservation. Once you get there it will be deducted from your DDP. They will only charge your CC if you are paying OOP or if you don't show up.

Just tell them you are on the dining plan and they shouldn't charge your CC (sometimes they do by accident; you can just call back and get a credit). They will take your CC though for if you do not show up and do not cancel. Then they will charge the no-show fees ($10 per adult/$5 per child).

Once you are at WDW, you can tell them, when you are being seated, whether you want to pay OOP or use your dining credits. You can pay any way you want to once you are there; cash, credit card, Disney Reward card. No worries.
