OK. So I was looking over sample menus (Magical Kingdoms) and have come across three, count em', THREE entrees that I know are must haves (and I know that's not the extent of what Disney can do!) So my question is if anyone has had crown service done? What was it like? Was it super expensive? Is it easier? Also, would Disney allow you to take a dinner count (menu card in invitation) and give to them in lieu of crown service? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can take a count and provide it to your planner instead of doing Crown Service. Another option is to do a duo plate, where you serve two smaller portions of different entrees on the same plate. So far I haven't heard of a trio plate, but there's a first time for everything! :)

Is there a chance you could have a buffet instead and offer all three dishes as part of it? I know buffets are a big no-no in some circles though....:lmao:

What I did was offer a Chicken dish, a Beef Dish, a Fish dish, and a kid's meal on the invites and then I gave my totals to the wedding planner just a couple days ago. It also made it a little easier if I decided to switch one of the meals, like I originally had a different chicken dish, but changed it to a different one but it doesnt matter because the guests didnt know what the chicken dish was anyway. I was not charged anything extra for having the options as long as I told the wp what all the guests wanted two weeks before the wedding.
