We are trying to figure out when to take our next trip to Disney. Our schools have off next year the week before Easter. Does anyone know how the crowds are that week? Also, are there normally any codes/AP rates?

I watched the posts this last year at Easter pretty closely as our trip was right after Easter. The posts seemed to say that the crowds were building, but not crazy until the weekend. The weekend was generally unbareable though due to the lines and crowds. 2 hour wait times and main street was shoulder to shoulder. This seemed to be the case the following week also.

The weather was a bit rainy, but when we got the week after Easter week the weather was amazing, the crowds manageable and all the magic we hoped for.

Disney is much more crowded the week before and leading up to Easter Sunday. The week after is crowded, but not as bad. Yes there will be 1-2 hours waits at all the parks. However, it helps that the parks are open later than usual the week before and the week after.
I was able to get an AP discount for rooms. I'm not sure about general discount codes. If you do a lot of planning, everything should be fine. We go every year from the Friday before Easter to the weekend after. Just be prepared and you will do fine.

We were there over Palm Sunday weekend and on monday of Easter Week, it was EXTREMELY crowded. I have never seen Epcot as crowded as it was that monday. Most of the Fast Passes were gone by 9:30am, and standby lines were well over 2 hour waits. Our last day there on monday we chose to do less popular things had a great time and glad we had seen the really popular attractions week before that.... :sunny:

We were there this past year the week before Easter and it was crowded! :rotfl: Also, the weather wasn't great! :sad2: Rainy and cool! We did get an AP rate for WL, but it wasn't as good as other times when we have gone! :sad2: But, honestly we are thinking about going back at Easter again this year! Gotta love those AP's! :rotfl:
