we are use to going to disney in january and february, we are just wondering what how the crowds compare.:confused3

we are planning on going the first week in june as well. usually the crowds are lower cause kids are still in school.

I believe the first week of June is Gay Days ... but not sure exactly how that affects crowd levels. There was a thread around here a few weeks ago that had some info. I think it was on the "Theme Parks Attractions & Strategies" board?

I also would love to know this. DF and I are getting married June 7th, and although we will unfortunalty not be able to take a disneymoon, we would like to celebrate our one year there.

We would also like to know how the first of June is crowd wise. We were thinking May 31st - June 6th. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gay Days aside (June 3 to June 9th) .. crowds overall appear that they will be slightly larger than last year at the same time.. the park hours start getting extended a week earlier than they did last year..

I think it'll be busier than years past on the same week.

We were at WDW this past June 3-9....crowds were not horrible, but is was hot and humid. We carefully planned which park to see on which day to avoid the worst crowds (thanks, TGM!), used fast passes, and took midday breaks.

We arrived just after Star Wars weekends, but from what I heard, that had a much bigger impact on the crowds than Gay Days did.

Our WDW vacations are always during the last week of May through the first full week of June. Gay Days is the first weekend in June. I believe that the crowds are affected by the extra visitors. We just avoid the Magic Kingdom that weekend.

The heat and humidity doesn't bother us too bad but we are from Louisiana where our June temperatures reach almost 100 and the humidity is super high! I think the Florida temps were in the high 80s and low 90s.

Over the years, we've seen the crowds grow. By mid-afternoon, the most popular rides have long waits but are manageable if you use Fastpass.

We take two days for the Magic Kingdom, a day for Hollywood Studios, a day for Animal Kingdom and two days for Epcot. We also take several days to just chill out, take in a water park, shop at Downtown Disney, etc.

How about June 10th thru the 17th? What are the crowds like then?

Close to that of the first week of June. We have done both and it seems like that week might be slightly less but when there are that many people in one place, missing a few thousand only shows up on the turnstiles.
Each week in June gets more and more crowded.... it finally slows down Mid August ( BUT THE HEAT!! :faint: :sunny: :sunny: )It then Cranks back up for "Free Dining" then Mid September -Mid October you can move much better
