crowds - Sept. 23 - Oct 1

New to this board - Is there something special going on at WDW from 9/23/05 - 10/1/05? My family and I went at this time 2 years ago and the crowds were very small. However, I was reading in a 2005 WDW planning book that during this time period crowds are expected to be very large. Just curious if there is something going on at this time that I am not aware of> I'm hoping what I read in this particular book was just a mis-print.

They offered free dining during this time frame. From what I've read here, it's much busier. People have been having a hard time with getting reservations for dining. If you haven't made any yet and want to, I would call ASAP.
