Crowds/reservations over Thanksgiving

We're thinking of going over Thanksgiving, I just wondered if anyone had experience over this time. Could we potentially have a problem getting a reservation at our home resort (VWL), even trying to book 11 months out? Are the parks very crowded over the holiday weekend?

(Update, I'm not thinking of this year, just trying to plan in advance, possibly for next year.)

I called over 6 wks ago and could not get a studio for all the nights starting Nov 27 to Dec 1. I got 29 & 30th at BWV but I am on the wait list for the 27 & 28 at any resort. Not sure what is left in 1 -2 bedroom rooms but I would get on the wait list real quick.

You should not have any trouble getting the room you want if you call at the 11 month window.

The parks (especially the MK) and DD are quite crowded over the Holiday weekend. Most of the crowd leaves sometime on Sunday and the week following Thanksgiving is not crowded.

I called at the 11 month window for Thanksgiving day thru Dec 13 and was able to get 2 bedroom and studio with no problem. Actually was able to add one day to reservation at VWL at about 10 month mark.
