Crowds over New Years Eve and first of Jan?

My family is going to be at WDW Dec. 31st -Jan.4th. What can we expect for crowds and weather?

I was there this year from 1/1 thru 1/5. We went to MGM on the 2nd and I haven't been there when it was that crowded in a long time. All I can say is use fastpass. On the other hand, we went to AK on the 4th and it was empty.

Oh and we had one day when we could wear shorts (the 2nd) and then it was very, very, very, very cold. You never know what the weather will be. I always check the weather channel's website every day for about a week before we leave.

We were at WDW this year from 1/1 to 1/9 and from about 1/1 to 1/5 it was REAL crowded, especially at MK. Then after 1/5, crowds started to dwindle and were real low by the time we left! Doesn't that figure!
However, the weather was beautiful! Sunny and 60's to 70's all week with no rain. It was really cool at night though-bring a jacket!
You will have a great time!

Its gets really cold in the Mornings and Evenings, but the good news is that its so crowded you get warmth from all the other people surrounding you.
