Crowds May 1st and Oct 1?

I'm trying to decide between April 30th - May 2nd or going Oct 3rd through Oct 5th (and going to HHN) .. does anyone know how bad the crowds are? I might just go both trips ..

If you can, go both times. If not, wait until October and do HHN while you're here. The crowds aren't bad at all during early October.

Normally early May is not busy at all but I have a feeling it might be this year. I was really surprised how busy the parks have been this week (the end of April). It's starting to seem that this year hasn't really had much of a slow season.

MIB had a 45 minute wait yesterday which is rather unusual for this late in April. I'd definitely go in October just so you can do HHN.

In October, crowds are light during the day, but then it gets packed for HHN. If I could only pick one, it would be in October.
