Hey everyone,
Besides the fact that this week will be HOT, HOT, HOT!!!! Just wondering if anyone can kind of give me an idea of the crowd patterns around this time, it seems like if I remember correctly the crowds weren't bad, however, that was a couple of years ago and I cannot remember how it was......Just wondering for those who have been there around this time and could tell me what to expect besides the HEAT AND HUMIDITY of Florida in August. Thanks guys.

Good question, I would like to know too. Especially about the last couple weeks in Aug!

Rachel

We went in Aug. in '02 and '03. We thought it was much more crowded in '03 and said we would try to go at a different time of the year next time we go. Yes, it is HOT, HOT, HOT and large crowds make seem even more HOT, HOT, HOT!

I think 03 was very crowded because they offered that fairytale package, pay for so many nights get so many free....too good of a deal to pass up and everybody booked. Yes it was hot, and I was there with my 3 children. We are going to try it again this year cause unfortunately that is the only time we can go, hopefully the crowds will be less this time.

:sunny: I would go again in August in a heartbeat. Yes, it was pretty hot, but not unbearable IMO, the water parks were great and it seems like you are always ducking into air conditioning. We went August 29 - Sept 3 and the crowds were minimal. I don't think we waited more than 5 minutes for any ride. We didn't even have to use fast pass, the machines were all covered. Downside - we had Hurricane Frances for 2 of those days :umbrella: :umbrella: Most of the south is already back at school. We start earlier in 2005, so August is out. Have a great time!

I expect crowds to be way up the last week of August this year. Many people have been posting about going that week, and some places that were in school at that time last year are not starting until after Labor Day.
