My husband & I have always gone to Disney in September with the exception of one trip in March. Of course September is not crowded & March was very crowded. We are considering going in May this year & were wondering if anyone has been there in May & how crowded it is? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We have been in May traditionally for the last few years and have found it to be really enjoyable and the crowds very manageable.
We favor the early part of the month because if you go at the end it tends to be much more crowded. We always manage a water park and swimming at the resort pools as it tends to be a bit warm. It can also be a little rainy but not like in June. All in all I think you will find May a wonderful time to visit.
Good Luck

Yup! Earlier in May is MUCH better than later in the month. The heat can be a little stifling, but the crowds are good.

We went May 11-18 this year, and it was great! Very low crowds, and only one t-storm. It was very hot, however! 90's every day and HUMID!!!

We went May 6 - 11 this year and the crowds were very light but it was so hot and humid. If you can take the heat you will love it. We are going back again May 2004.

Went the first week of May this year and the third week of September 2 years ago. Heat was about the same, low 90's both times. Crowds were about the same, fairly low. In may there were no love bugs,
