Crowds, Heat, Rain, and Lovebugs-Only 5 days to go and how are the conditions?

Just got back last night. Hot - check. Humid - check. Lovebugs - not bad at Disney, but they're in heavy heavy clouds just to the south, from Ft. Pierce to Yeehaw Junction (as my blackened car can attest). Rain - 50% chance every day I was there...exactly 0" fell while I was there. Crowds - low to very low. MK and DHS the most crowded: Toy Story Mania 30 minute standby, POTC 10 minutes, Splash Mountain 20 minutes. Epcot and AK very thin crowds: Everest less than 5 minutes standby, Kali less than 5 minutes standby, Soarin 10 minutes standby, Test Track 10 minutes standby.

Sorry if this is an obvious question but do lovebugs bite? They don't even exist up here:goodvibes

Nope. They are harmless, just a bit of a PITA when there is a heavy season, cause then they are everywhere

We're in Canada too and never have heard of Love Bugs. I anticipate they are short lived and will be long gone by our November visit? Are there any November bugs we should be aware of?

Let's hope these low crowd levels continue. The Poly seems pretty full. :confused3

So far we have hit hollywood studios, MK and AK. The only place we have really seen any lovebugs, Animal Kingdom. They were not that bad but my 18mo niece spotted every one and was pointing them out to us all. The crowds today at AK were not bad at all, only a 20 min wait standby at exp. everest, and if you rode single rider, then it was maybe 5 min. Thats what we decided. The first time we all paired up, did the parent swap thing, and then we rode separate to move along faster. Kali was at the same wait, and later in the afternoon, we hit the point where the fast pass and standby lines combine, and had just gotten off and were invited to make a U turn and get right back on!!:banana::banana: Heat and humidity are miserable tho :faint:

OMG, this is sounding wonderfull. Love the 'lack of a crowd' pics in the above post.
