Crowds end of August

We are going 8/27 - 9/1. For those of you that have been at the end of August, how are the crowds?

We went last year at the end of August and the crowds were very light. We did not wait on many rides and covered the parks pretty quickly. The thunderstorms in the afternoon were the only downfall.

Very light during the week. The only real crowds we saw were on Saturday evening in the Magic Kingdom for Spectromagic. This was to be expected as it was the only showing during our trip.

We have been to wdw 4 times during the last week of August and the crowds are light. But the heat and humidity is intense. Go early and leave by 1pm. One thing to keep in mind the parks close early.
