The past few times I have gone to Disney World we have gone in early to mid September. Now my work shuts down during Sukkot so that is when I have to go. This year it is the end of September, and next year it will be Mid October. Does Sukkot see any particular increase in attendance?

Depends on what you are asking. Does Sukkot itself lend to more crowds? I would guess no, just based on statistics. If Sukkot falls within a time frame where you naturally see a rise in attendance (such as certain weeks in October), then yes, you could have to go at a more crowded time.

Yes, the later you get into September and early October the busier it gets (unrelated to the holiday)
Still, it’s not a crazy busy time to go.

Kenny The Pirate has a crowd calendar on his web site, so you can check your dates and see what projected crowds will be.

In general, the parks are busier when schools and businesses are closed then when the majority of them are in session.

But if schools and businesses are going to be closed for a week then it would be a perfect time to head to WDW.

Sept, Oct and Nov are busy because of F&W Festival, plus Mickey's Halloween parties. And the federal holiday weekends - Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day.

Sukkot is not the attendance driver for that time of year, it's other considerations as others have pointed out. Hebrew day schools will close during the high holidays, not sukkot, so you won't see people pulling their kids for Yom Tov and then sukkot again (beyond the Shemini Azerit and Simchat Torah dates). But if there is a corresponding holiday in the public system, you will see influxes of families.

If that's when you close down, then that's when you go. I actually like September/October, as a bit of a shoulder season. Yes, it can be busy, but you get a few celebrations like Food and Wine and MNSHP options.

@TRTRguy thanks for posting this. I have never seen the term Sukkot before so I had to Google it. Learned something new again today, which I love.

This might be my favourite post of the week. Love that you actually noted it.
It is good to see you on this board. I once used the one hallel on one post and must have had 20 people asking me I was talking about. This was about 10 years ago before people googled everything.
