Can anyone please give me an idea how the crowds during this week would be? Thank you.

I would imagine it would be very busy. We are arriving on the 21st and expect it to be near capiacity at that time. It should be a little quieter at the start of the week and gradually getting busier.

The first couple of days should be OK, but crowds will be building quite steadily throughout that week.

Intuitively, I would agree with Bob P. But, the Unofficial Guide has crowd levels at about 5 (I think?) on Friday the 16th, 6 that Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 5 on Tuesday and Wednesday, then I think going back to 6. That's what I recall without the book in front of me at least. It even shows crowd level 6 on the 24th, then going to 10 for the next week.

Crowd levels of 5-6 equate to wait times of something like 45-65 minutes at peak waits.

I don't know how accurate that is, but those folks do a lot of research to come up with their predictions.

I will be there the same dates and am hoping for a few days without massive crowds. The value seasons ends on the 20th so I guess that is when the crowds will start. I planned to cover the parks in the first 4 full days and then scheduled some tours and down time for the last few days. The unofficial guide, as stated before, shows mid-level crowds until the 24th. I was there this past January, the unofficial levels were around 5, yet I found the parks very quiet. I guess we will find out soon enough.

We have been twice during this time of the year. Christmas Eve. we watched the parade at the MK with hardly any people around. Of course we were not at the main street castle area. The crowds showed up Christmas Day. I mean elbow to elbow people and bumper to bumper traffic. It was amazing to see the change from the previous days. The MK closed to guest early on the 25th. We are going again this year, but staying out of the parks after the 25th. We really enjoy this time of year.

My mother just moved to Tampa so we are going for a couple of nights just to experience the magic at Christmas...when I called to book rooms 24th and 25th, I still had many resort options. I was surprised. I know...wishful thinking. The FL resident rates were incredible for that time too. Less than we usually pay in Sept/Oct.
