Who has just been there? and what were the line ups like? or if you haven't been there yet and know someone who has..

(DH, ME, DS (12), DS (8)...May 1st 2009 WDW Trip!!!)

(this is my vacation ticker..cant figure out how to insert it LOL!!!)

Just got back Saturday Night. Pretty crowded in my opinion.. a lot more than we're used too. Toy Story Mania fastpasses were gone by 11:30am both days we were there (for whatever reason.. not a huge fan of that ride!).. Fantasmic was full by 7:30 for the 8:30 show.. Epcot was really busy as well. Not going this time of year again!

My BF and I went there for the first time in the beginning of September. The crowd level was great! The most we waited for a ride was 1/2 an hour. I would say that our average wait time for any ride was about 5 minutes.

I was worried the week before we left because it was hurricane season and I wasn't sure which direction the hurricane was going to go. Thankfully, it didn't hit Orlando! We were there for 10 days (from September 7-17) and it only rained twice and only for part of the day. The rest of the days were bright and sunny :)

I did some research before we headed to Orlando last fall and from what I understand, October and November are great months to go - great weather, low crowd level. We opted out for September because of the free dining plan - which I highly recommend! It saved us a lot of money and allowed us to try different restaurants that we probably wouldn't have gone to if we had to pay for them :)

Hope that helps!

We've been back a week. We did rope drop (park opening) for MK a couple times and once for Epcot. If you know what your must do's are for each park, you can have one of the adults go get Fast Passes as soon as you enter the park.

The most important thing is be there early - you can do more in the first hour than in three or four hours in the afternoon. It's truly intimidating to see the crowds pouring into the park, so if the MK opens at 9am, be there by 8:30am.

Also DH said to watch the local Orlando weather channel on TV in your resort room, as well - one day we were the ONLY ONES at the Poly headed to the MK on the monorail dressed in rain gear, and it POURED about 30 minutes after RD that morning, all morning.

PM if you have questions!

just be thankful you weren't there today!! apparently, MK closed because it reached maximum capacity. Can you imagine what it will be like by the weekend?! :scared1: Now this is why we go in January LOL

We had a great week.

Our first visit so don't have much to compare to.

We were at each park for rope drop, (stayed on site so took advantage of EMH) stayed at parks until early afternoon, went to resort to have pool time and then were back to parks to eat and have some fun in the evening.

Never really felt like we were fighting crowds until Sunday night at wishes. Crowds had definitely picked up by the Sunday pm, Monday. Thankfully all of our must do's we had accomplished at the first of trip. So could just pin trade, fastpass a couple of rides and people watch on Monday.

Longest ride wait was 30minutes.(BTHM) We used fastpasses and used rider switch alot.

Longest bus wait was 20 minutes. Other then on Sunday there had been an accident at MK so buses had been rerouted and were taking a bit longer.

Glad we headed home when we did. Wouldn't want to be fighting crowds.
