I have a question. We are staying at Disney at the end of June. I know that we will visit one park per day. We will not be hopping around in one day. Is it better to take advantage of the early hour if you are a resort guest, or would it be better to attend at normal time at a park that does not have the early hour in order to avoid bigger crowds throughout the entire day? I hope this makes sense. Thanks!!!!: :D

Conventional wisdom seems to indicate that one should take advantage of EMH from opening until mid or late morning when things start to get busy. At that point, head out for lunch and hop to anothre park for the rest of the day.

If as you mentioned, you will absolutely not do any park hopping, then I suggest avoiding the EMH park and instead visit the park that had EMH the day before.

On second thought, maybe I would be willing to hop from park to park. I plan to visit in the morning anyway and then take afternoon breaks and return to the parks in the evening. So, it would be best to visit the early morning park until approx. 11:00, and then go to a different park?

we were at the world over Easter we went to early entry every day and left by noon every day as the crowds were very large . On one day we went to mgm just to ride RNR and TOT and then went to blizzard beach for park open , MGM was packed for early entry and the lines for non resort guests for huge waiting to get in.

Yikes. Okay, I guess this requires a lot of patience. Do you think it's still worth it to attend the early hour for resort guests? As I've never been to Disney, I'm trying to plan our strategy.

yes it is very worth while the only reason we left was that this was our second time at MGM early entry . What I would do is get there at least 30 mins early even for early entry do the big rides asap grab a fast pass for one of the big rides right away then go do some of the other stuff when you can get another fast pass send one person in the group to get another fastpass for another major attraction by then you should be able to use your first fastpass . My rule is never be with out one fastpass at all times if the fastpass is good for after I want to leave I give them away . Easter is very busy but for the past 2 we have missed most of the crowds.
