Crowded?

I'm going to go to the park on Thursday does anyone know if the parks have been super packed? I'm so glad it cooled down because I was considering canceling if it was as hot as the weekend.

When we were there this weekend it wasn't packed at all, especially for it being a summer weekend. At DCA, most of the rides were walk on (TOT, Monster's, Maliboomer) and some had less than 20 minute wait (Screamin').. At DL we walked on to Snow White, Toad, and BTMRR..

We usually go on weekends, so it was pleasant that there weren't many people.

I think the heat had something to do with it, now that it's getting cooler, that might change..

Just remember that Thursday is a MM day and so unless you have MM, then when you enter the park, Nemo, Fantasyland rides, Space, and Buzz will all have lines already. It's best to grab a Space FP and then head over to the other side of the park as soon as possible.

Aww I didn't realize that! I'm taking my DD and her friends and they're 3 and 2 years old. The park opens at 8am that day so is EE at 7am?

Yes thats right - it will start at 7am.

I have heard that the parks will be busier as it is the last week before the SoCal passes get blocked out for the summer - and as they were blocked out this weekend it could explain the quieter crowds. But hopefully thats not the case! And there are always plenty of things to do line free - especially with little ones.

We're not completely blocked out for the summer. Just the entire month of July. We still have days left in June and August. The several block out dates do help to lessen the crowds. I'm not going again until October! But that's mainly because heat + crowds = a VERY irritable Cristabel. NOT happy KWIM?

I'll enjoy my summer in my air conditioned room, at the beach, or by the pool.
