Well this week is one of the busiest of the year and even with crowds standing around outside the question I have with many of these pictures is are they actually in line (and is it SB or FP+) or just gathering while waiting for their FP+ time - in the past I have seen such crowds up at the FP- line blocking view and access into the line as they wait for their time. And if these crowds are FP+ lines are they waiting longer or just slow to get MBs to connect at the entrance?

I'm going the week of Easter & I'm interested to see how crowded it is now, since it will probably be comparable when I'm scheduled to go...

It is taking that long to get people through the first check in at the FP lines. There is only one CM at almost every line I have seen. So if there is a problem... and there is with every 5th party or so, everyone has to stop till the issue is resolved making an even bigger backup.

Once you are in, it is usually a walk to the next checkin, so it is not like the line goes all the way out to the park, but it is taking too long to get people into the FP lines. I don't see how that is going to improve much over time as there will always be people who are new to the system and glitches in the system. It just amazes me that I need to wait in line to get to wait in line.

Every FP+ line we went through had two separate scanners in-use to let people through two at a time. Each time there was a big crowd in front of the FP+ line, it was because everyone was gathering for their window to open. The line moved VERY quickly.

Why is it so crowded right now? Most colleges had spring break in the beginning of the month, and grade schools have spring break in a couple weeks.

There is no universal time for spring breaks. One of my college students had his last week, the other this week. My middle school daughter has spring break starting tomorrow. It's all over the board depending on district and school.

Most of central Florida is on break this week. We will be there next week because that's our spring break. Not all grade school spring breaks align with Easter.

In our area, some districts are off this week, some next week, and the Parochial schools have break the week after that.

The standby time for POTC was posted as 75 minutes. The pics below are of the FP+ RETURN LINE. (I had a FP+ for this time and bailed instead of waiting in this mess.) Yes, it spilled out that far into Adventureland and was a complete and utter mob scene.

I'm wondering the same thing. I understand that the Mickey readers take a few seconds more but this just seems totally bananas! How have they not addressed the back up that the Mickey readers cause already?

When you get your Frozen Meet & Greet Fastpass after the move, go ahead and report to Epcot anyway; that's where the end of the line will be.

I am guessing here but from What I have read fp+ has many glitches. Some people have to wait an hour or more to get them set up correctly upon entering the park. Plus when you get up to the ride, more glitches. Add that to spring crowds and it's a recipe for disaster. This has been a huge mess and failure if these long lines are a vision of things to come! Summer should be interesting....

We were there in Feb. for Presidents week and the FP lines were crazy long. They set up ropes outside of Big Thunder because the FP return line stretched back past Splash mountain. The FP line for SM stretched back toAstro Orbiter. I don't know why. I wondered if maybe they weren't staggering the return times enough. The lines did move, but it still seemed crazy to have FP return lines that long. I know it was a busy week, but I would think it gets a lot busier than President's week.
