Crowd Indications

I have been looking about looking for ideas about what crowds will be like when we go.

We fly out on 1st April and return 15th - I always found in the past looking at things like prices for Universal Express Pass is a good indication of crowd levels and most of my days seem to be at the 2nd lowest price point with some of my 2nd week being at the lowest price point. The 15th onwards looks as if it goes up in price.

I also looked at Disney park hours but not sure if that tells me anything - is there anything else that I can use to give me *hope* :rotfl2:

Is touring plans a good site to subscribe to? It only gives me an indication and it seems that the end of March the crowds are tailing off....that's not to say they don't go up the very next day :happytv:

I swear by them. It costs about $10 for a years sub and is worth every cent IMO. Until last year we had only ever gone at peak times and never had a problem with waiting in lines etc - even over Easter week

Great touring plans, restaurant and hotel ratings, even off site info if you need it.

OK thanks for that - I've got some funds in my Paypal account so can't think of anything else better to spend it on!

Lol, I added my fairfx to paypal and it's even easier to spend without thinking online as you dont even have to convert it.

They do a podcast Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. Called WDW today. It's free and they are lots of fun. Check iTunes

Not sure if it's still the case, but you used to get free access to that website if you bought the Unofficial Guide.

They stopped that at the end of 2009, but I think you still get a discount if you buy the book

I've got an Unofficial Guide but not the 2011 one - I take it you need the newest one?

No, it needs to be current. But honestly unless you have it or are going to buy it anyway, it is only $10 for a sub, give or take. Less than £7 for the year = circa 50p per month.

I also subscribe to touring plans. Very useful for planning,

Do keep checking as they can tweek it nearer the time of your trip.
