During our Oct. '07 trip, I took Crocs for myself and my girls, and my husband wore tennis shoes. I brought tennis shoes in the stroller for myself and my girls if we needed to change. We were new to Crocs at that time. My feet were perfect the entire week, they didn't really hurt too bad, my girls never complained, but my hubby was really sore and hurting by the end of the day. Plus, it rained, mainly poured for many of the days and it was no problem at all for us in Crocs as we just walked right in the water with no worries, no slipping etc. My husband on the other hand had sopping wet shoes for much of our trip!
We are going again next week and I have just fit my 2 yr old with a new pair, and again my girls and I will be wearing Crocs, while my hubby still insists on wearing his tennis shoes. He says men don't wear crocs, but I'm all about being comfortable!! My dad is coming with us and I've even talked him into wearing a pair as well! Oh well, some people never learn!
Oh yeah, btw, I've found they are great for everything on a WDW trip. Going to the beach, no problem. Going to the pool, no problem. In the park in rain, no problem. Shower in them in your room (if you are bothered about standing barefoot) or wearing them in your hotel room if its dirty. You really only need one pair for the whole trip. Plus taking them on and off while going through airport security is no problem, as is being comfortable on the airplane in them. This trip, I'm not bringing any other shoes for me or the kids, just one pair of crocs each.
Really, I don't work for them, just a big fan of them. They aren't the most attractive, but they are great otherwise!
