Crocs question

So Hubby and I both tried on some Crocs and LOVED them. We are going to get some through the online website but I have a concern from DH.

Will the darker colored Crocs mean his feet would be a little toasty? We are going the end of September so the heat is still an issue.

We don't wear the traditional beach/cayman style Crocs in Disney in Sept. Too hot! We wear the sandals styles (I love the Capris) and they work out perfectly.

I've worn navy ones and the pearl colored ones to WDW and didn't notice a difference with the heat. But you will want to choose a style that has quite a few holes to let the air circulate.

Hubby won't wear sandal or flip flop styles so we are stuck with the clog type. But I noticed that they have a new color of the Disney Crocs called Khaki. I think he would love those. Not too bright but not that dark either. I personally want the pearl ones.

I have worn, navy, black, khaki, brown Crocs in the parks with no differnce than the light colored ones for heat factor. Have worn Caymans, Beach and Disney Crocs and found no differnce in heat with style either as they all have air holes in them.

They also have a canvas "boat shoe" called the Santa Cruz. My husband loves these and would not be caught dead in crocs otherwise. They come in brown, black, khaki, blue and white.

I wore black Crocs when we went in April. I thought that they got quite warm.

Last year, I wore black ones and when I was walking I didn't notice much of a heat factor, but when I was standing outside and not moving, OUCH!!! Boy did they get hot!

I wore both Crocs Malindis (black) and Crocs Cleos (pink and brown sandals), and both of my girls wore the Crocs Mary Janes (hot pink for one DD, brown for the other) when we went in July 2007 and none of us noticed the color affecting whether or not our feet felt more "toasty."
